He comes across as a lovely bloke doesn't he? Not just here but whenever he was on telly. A lovely style, clearly knows what it takes to be the best, has the respect of everyone around him, but he comes across as a lovely genuine man that doesn't take himself to seriously and can see the humour in everything. Bless you Greavsie, we will all love you forever. I wish there were more like you in today's game.

A lovely humble man, and a great chracter,...and arguably Britain's greatest and most clinical striker of all time,...his goalscoring record is incredible,...in an era of terrible pitches,..when hard tackling was part and parcel of the game........a true great of the game

Even though he played for that vile club side, he was a gent. (before my time), but we as kids grew up seeing saint and greavsie on saturday morning. Funny story
