This company is operating from Hong Kong which is in China. The electric consumption till desired temperature is reached is about 2500-2700 watts and after the temperature is reached the electric consumption is reduced to about 250 to 300 watt which is more than what a particular model of Daikin consumes. This is similar to a normal inverter AC with the sore point being that it is made in China. I have this AC installed at my home in Nizwa, Oman and among the 5 air-conditioners in my house, this is the worst. The other AC's made by Fujitsu( commonly referred to as General in Bharath), Hitachi and Daikin are far far better than this. When buying an AC in Bharath make sure that you buy an AC where the compressor manufacturing plant is in Bharath for example Hitachi. The other brands are Fujitsu, Daikin, Toshiba and Mitsubishi. Make sure that their compressor is not made in China. Preferably go for a unit that uses R32 as the refrigerant gas.

Gree ac is a hardcore Chinese product. We Indian should stay from it. More over our import policy is curbing more n more for Chinese products. It can affect service and availability of spare parts in long run.

Test any split AC which has same 5 star rating, it will use same Ampere of Current There is something called Power Factor which is basically the efficiency with which electricity is used and you are not considering it. Also Inverter AC start with lower ampere and then consumption goes up. So this 250 watt thing is a joke
