Greece - Olympus mount (Mytikas peak) 

Greece - Olympus mount climb (Mytikas peak).
Endurance hike towards the Mytikas peak (2918m) of the Mountain of 12 gods.
Made it alone and few portions with friends. Started at 4:30 am from the Prionia.
Made the entire hike (up & down) in about 9:30h with nearly 2000m altitude gain and similar descend back to the parking. But, it's better to split the hike and do it in 2 days:
1st day - hiking towards the Spilios Agapitos (Zolotas) Refuge (+1000m)
2nd day - climbing towards the Scala peak (+750m) and then towards the Mytikas/Skolio/Stefani peaks (+100m) and complete descend
Starting point is from Prionia parking (E4 route) village and the rout is of total 6+6km up and down. You can start the hike from Litochoro village and in such case round trip will be up to 20km long and will least more then 14h.
