For my honeymoon, my husband and I went to Santorini and Milos, and just like you, we were VERY impressed with Milos. It's our first recommendation to anyone who is looking to go to the Greek islands. Santorini was stunning, but the prices and the crowds were a bit overwhelming and Milos had a charm to it that was so unique.
I am from Iran. Another name of my country is Persia. I traveled to Greece once. It is really a beautiful country with kind and beautiful people. We have had many wars in the past, but I hope we will always live together in peace and friendship. 🇬🇷🤝 🇮🇷
As a Greek there's no hard feelings the wars were such a long time ago. I actually really want to visit Iran 🇮🇷 ❤️🇬🇷 If you have some time maybe you can check out our travel vlog and let us know what you think.
I honeslty really love these travel vlogs from you, especially because your editing style and the clips you film are incredible!! I just don't get tired of how perfectly each and one of these are made. I'm always appreciating and waiting for more videos (food content haha) ❣︎
i love watching these videos while living in greece my whole life. Sometimes, in an economy like this you forget how beautiful the country you're living in is. These videos are very comforting. Ιf you visit again, you should visit my hometown crete. Its very beautiful as well :)
What a beautiful country! My sister and brother in law visited Greece and went on and on and on about the food..lol. Can't wait to go! Looks like you guys had a great time!
Wow, thank you for sharing this. I've been dreaming to visit Greece for the longest time and am glad to know there is a cheaper way to do a vacation there. Thought I might also share a good travel carry-on bag you can consider on your future travels. It's the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane. It's very functional and a good carry-on on travels ❤🥰
Just wanted to say that you have a Greek subscriber right here! I am currently living in London, so it was so nice seeing my neighborhood in Athens in your vlog! Hope you enjoyed everything:)

There are many more underrated Greek islands and also the mainland in countless ways. But yes. Milos is gorgeous too! *Eh also. There is no Greek Paella.* But there are countless of Greek pasta dishes with some of the oldest traditions, rice dishes ( Greece harvests 7 types of rice), potato dishes, and the thallasso culture cuisine of the entire western world is founded in Greece among other things. I myself make a heavenly shrimp pasta dish that beats anything in any restaurant and it's a clear Greek dish as well. Just be open to the fact that Greece has thousands of dishes. Not everything is stereotypes like the world usually loves to fall into 99% of the time. There are atleast 20 regional cuisines in Greece and then Politiki kouzina which is the cooking of Greek Byzantine legacy of the city of Constantinople and Thessaloniki which on it's own consists of thousands of dishes in every type possible. From pulses, meats, beans, vegetables, fruits, rice, pasta, potato, salads, desserts, meats, fish, a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g. Also it's pronounced more like ghee-roh. and the gh = very soft g.
Hey there! I just finished watching your trip to Greece and it looks like you had such an amazing time! The crystal-clear water and beautiful beaches you visited are definitely on my bucket list now. I loved how you made the most out of your day in Athens and got to see the ruins and try delicious Greek food. The sesame bread looked so tasty and the walnut cookies you had for dessert looked addictive! Your Airbnb in Milos was stunning with such a beautiful view of the beach. I'm glad you were able to find some clothes for your trip in Europe and the beach towel you got is so cute! The cliff jumping spots you found at Sarakiniko were breathtaking and the traditional Greek Musaka you tried looked mouth-watering. It's amazing how you got your hotel stay and breakfast comped by your credit card - I'm definitely looking forward to your video on how to travel more affordably! Thanks for sharing your amazing experience with us. 🤩🏖🛫🍪👙🍹🌅🌊🇬🇷
Amazing video, I can't wait to visit greece again and vlog it this time, I went to Crete last summer, honestly soo amazing and so many things to do there! ❤
I've been going to Milos since i was a kid and it became my second home, I have so many friends over there and the people who rent us an apartment have become like family, your vlog just brings back so much memories Also I know the guy at 8:02 he's so cool lol seeing him just makes me nostalgic Just btw, i think you pronounce the s at the end end of gyros so it goes like "gueeross" in phonetic, also the little town on the hill where you were at the church is named Plaka, i love this place
Gyros sounds like "year-os" The sweet you had it's "ισλί" and you pronounce it "e-slee" Thank you for visiting, your video is very good and you two are a beautiful couple
We have so many beautiful islands and i don't know why everyone prefers Mykonos,i know it's highly advertised but it's so expensive it's not worth it!❤
no bc I SWEAR massaging your face while washing it and while putting on creme after does the same thing too! Also thank you for the video will defiantly take Inspo for my trip!
My thought exactly but looking at its texture seemed like something of an apple pie or something like a marmalade inside. They do have a local cookie, don’t remember it’s name, that looks like melomakarono but it’s a variation. I wonder if it tasted like cinammon in it?
Greek-American in NY here. (born in Athens!) Loved your video. Question : the footage looked spectacular, what did you guys use to shoot with? (I.e Smartphone? DSLR? Brand?) Thanks and Happy Travels!
That is not a paella, it's an arroz caldoso de marisco which roughly translates to seafood rice soup. And it's probably greek coz it's made from prawns, mollusk... from the area.
I am Greek. There are two extinct volcanoes on the island, the volcano of Phyriplaka in the central southern part of the island, which has an impressive crater with a diameter of 1700 meters and a height of about 220 meters, and the volcano of Trachilas in the north-northwest
