Kurt's chest armor has +1 lock picking and you get him right off the bat. Just keep an extra chest piece to equip to him then swap it back when you don't need it. Good to have for the starting area.
This game is fun. The talents actually matter. Having things locked behind walls means talent points are scarce, so I have to make my decisions carefully, so I feel like my decisions actually matter more.
That is the most amazing video about this game I have ever seen. I know I’m late, just picked it up off the game pass and enjoying it but dang wow outstanding!
Good advice! The only thing I’d do differently is advise players to put the Vigor mod on their main chest piece, the one they use when exploring and questing, and put the Lockpick mod on a secondary chest piece (preferably Naut). You need Vigor way more; lockpick is temporary and situational.
the tier 3 lockpicking mod gave me a crit chance bonus or something like that (can't remember, it's been a while since I played the game) and that's why I had it equipped on my main armor. But vigor is indeed more important.
Halcylion Thanks for replying! I’m replaying games and binge-watching your videos since everything’s on lockdown here! I’ve found them extremely clear, well-organized, and helpful. You should totally have more subs! You’ve earned mine for sure!
Great advice! And I agree, play the game how you want, I personally don't invest in lockpicking, since there are a finite amount of uses. Every other talent is perpetually useful
Do you know if you get the Adventurer's gear and weapons for a play through that already existed when you bought the DLC or do you get it only for characters created after the purchase?
For some reason, during my livestream today (21 sept), chat messages stopped appearing on my playback device, and I didn't respond to any of the messages written to me. Sorry about that, I don't know what went wrong, but I have a good idea how to fix it next time.
The caps are stupid. I love maximizing everything in a game and just to be randomly cut off is very annoying and I doubt I could reset my stats now having used up the items that let me do so.
Mr. Halcylion: I am wanting to know what the MINIMUM investments in to both Talents, AND attributes (example the minimum amount of points needed spent in Agility for example to pass all of the balance/climb places in the game). I have saved all my skill/attribute/talent points at level 30 now. I am looking for someone who would know this information. Can you help me?
All talents are thoroughly explained in this video, so there's no need for me to go over them again. Attributes are in limited supply, there's nothing you can do to have all of them unlocked, you have to specialize in something specific. As for skills, which if I remember correctly are your abilities, again, you can't unlock everything. You either have to go all in in either magic, tech, or fighting, or you can be a jack-off all trades and do a little bit of everything. But please don't tell me you actually didn't go through 30 levels without spending any skill/attribute/talent points, because that's a mistake. You can reset your skills whenever you want, so you don't need to "save up".
Actually Vigor's useless early on the game you can just counter act the regen by buying a healing necklace heck even if you're a mage just switch between a mage necklace and a healing necklace out of combat for me its either science or intuition's the best early talent to invest at.
This host of vd is really mislead it should say for talent maximum lvl 45 . For skills and attributes max lvl 46 .. in vd he doesnt mention maximum lvl wtf joke
