Micah must be one of the best behave child in the world, I've never seen him cry then again he has the best view, best food, best adventures and most importantly best Mum and Dad. Mark and Ying, Micah might not remember all these now but he'll have those amazing videos and memories to cherish for the rest of his life. What a wonderful world that would be.
As a holiday maker in any part of Greece, the people must be the friendliest European people, they are so helpful, and the hospitality is second to none. Love their food, great salads and oils, mmmm tasty. Will be in Kos next year cannot wait
Greece is the seat of Western civilization. Thanks for Democracy, Philosophy and Trigonometry....and Gyros, Feta and those olives. Plato, Socrates and Aristotle.
@@Regalya Greek cuisine immitation of turkish? thats funny because Greece exists for more than 3000 years while Turkey is a fairly fresh nation occupying the land where Anatolian Greece used to be before turks backstabbed them in the back and stole it, 90% of turk cuisine is Arabic/Persian/Greek from when ottoman empire invaded the balkans so give back Constantinopole Smyrna and Trapezount and maybe we can talk about food.
That plate reminded me of the fabulous Greek food my family and I enjoyed on holiday a few years ago, every place had the best quality and the biggest portions, the people were so friendly especially if you travel with children! Love to you and Ying and Mica x
I love Greece too, especially Santorini. The Greek salad is awesome. They give you a whole block of feta cheese and veggies are so fresh. You should try the calamari! Yummy!
you all look especially happy in this video. what an amazing family memory, and how lovely for Micah to watch it in the future. obviously nobody's life is perfect, but i do want to congratulate you and Ying for creating a really special lifestyle for yourselves, and doing so with such a generous spirit. wishing you every good fortune.
Hi Mark,Ying and Micah, Greece seems to be a Food haven and prices are better than West European cities, comparing your swiss and german videos. Love your Vlogs.
i watch your videos for 4 years every night and now amazingly you came next to my house to eat souvlaki, ...we live in crazy times....you are legend !!!!!!!!
my mother keeps track of her and she likes your videos very much. we stay in Greece and you can come whenever you want in our home to host you and taste more Greek flavors
Breath taking views. Micah is a natural in front of a camera. He's as engaging and friendly as you and Ying are. I love your vlogs and videos. You make me smile, try new foods and overall make me feel better watching your enthusiastic approach to food and travel. You truly are the best of RU-vid. Everyone needs a Mark Wiens and family in their lives.
This is Cat from Brooklyn NY!🐱 Wow! You can really tell that your son loves the camera! I think he's going to grow up to be a movie star, or maybe he'll be a food blogger! THANKS for sharing all your wonderful videos!💞🐱
MarkWiens Vlogs This is Cat from Brooklyn NY!🐱 Your welcome! I really mean it! When you're talking and holding the camera and also holding him people may be listening to you but they're looking at him. He has a lot of charisma! You can see that he's bright, smart, he takes everything in, he wants to be a part of everything and he wants all that attention! Really he could be anything he wants to be! One thing for sure, we know he'll be well fed! LOL! And very much loved!💞 Thanks for your response!💖💝💜🐱
Greeks are way friendlier and open with people from all races than the majority of other Europeans...No? That's why freedom and democracy started from there
@mrmiura story stop whining and crying little butthurt snowflake everything you said is the exact opposite of what international community clarify on what is true greece is creator of democracy. Also in athens they discovered ancient "souvles" which were used to CREATE SOUVLAKIA OR GYROS get your facts straight soi boi
@hail rabbit ancient greece is supposed to have given birth to democracy, but bear in mind that they used slaves for all their great architectural achievements, and also women didn't have the right to vote, so it is not entirely true, the concept of democracy yes, of course...this coming from a greek stating some facts..
Love Micah. In his short little life he has already become a world traveler. Great first day dinner and tour. It's a place I would love to travel to. Thanks Mark. Take care.
we went to make greek salad too, just because you were eating it, lol, my girl says mom are you and dad eating what Mark is? lol I said yes, lol. thanks for sharing we love to watch I have been watching all day. thank you for sharing the views, love it!
Great vid! One thing must be mentioned though. The food you tried might tasted good etc. But for greeks these shops are too common and the quality believe it or not is next to fast-food. Its like trying fried chicken in a random shop in london.
That is the point. He showcases how regular everyday food at an "ok gyros place" in Greece is amazing. You don't even have to look for "the best gyros" to have an amazing meal, unlike in most other countries where amazing food is hard to find. Us Greeks are really lucky in that sense.
@@orestispalampougioukis6043 not quite my point. my point was that he could achive the same thing but visiting a more "traditional" or closer to "true" gyros. sorry for the late reply. for some reason i just saw that
This is so beautiful mark!!!, watching it makes me feel im with u traveling .. And nice to see micah and ying mostly on the video. You have a wonderful family 😍
A welcome change from Swiss prices for sure! I hope you got to try Kleftiko and Beef Stifado ( i think its that - the dish with a lot of sweet baby onions in it) and Moussaka ( I know its not strictly Greek but the version i know is made by Greeks) 3 of my fav meals. Good job Wiens family, tackling the hill so soon after dinner :D
@@MarkWiensVlogs Firstly I want to thank you for all your amazing content. Kleftiko is amazing and you should really try it if you ever come back.It literally translates to stolen, and it was a roast which happened underground to not produce smoke and give your location away. Now it's a slow roasted lamb wrapped in foil over coils with graviera cheese and herbs, and melt in your mouth goodness is an epic understatement .
I went to greece twice and the food is really tasty but somehow it makes full so fast , i can only eat half of the plate its somehow really heavy. But loved greece and greek people they are really nice ✌🏻
its because you ate street food and in casual tourist restaurants. Authentic Greek Mediterranean food is actually pretty light, healthy and far more delicious than these unfrozen gyros made from cheap processed Chinese meat and fried potatoes made in 1 month sunflower oil
That’s salad with no leafy greens looked delicious, I’m gonna have to replicate it. and the view of Athens at the end that was awesome, sent me back in time 2500 years...
