A1 Level / Lesson 17: This is a grammar lesson for A1-A2 level ! The video will help you with the definite article and the accusative form of the nouns. I tried to explain all the uses of the accusative and this might be difficult for an A1 learner.
A1 students: focus on the form of the accusative and the use of the object and the prepositions.
A2 students: focus on the accusative of time.

I don't usually write comments, but i have to say that the way you teach greek is so damn concise and simple, in a good way. I can't afford a greek teacher and i learn on my own, i got some books, but, even if they say the same things you say, it's a little bit hard to learn because they add a ton of details. Thank you for your effort!

You created this video in 2019 and still, in 2022, it is a gift that keeps on giving. Utterly frustrated with myself for not yet grasping the idea of the 'accusative case', I searched and watch multiple videos and read multiple articles on this subject, but still no clarity. The problem was not so much the word changes, that's just memory, but in particular, understanding 'WHEN' I should use it. FINALLY, your video, the simple format, slow and clear explanation helped. I now realise that I have been using it without even knowing. Μπραβο σου. Ευχαριστώ πολύ.

@@greeklessonsonlinevideos hi, I'm teaching greek, and was gonna say that this is a good exception to talk about. Also, it's kind of interesting to me that the articles aren't used after 'to be': Ο Νίκος είναι γιατρός. And not: *Ο Νίκος είναι ο γιατρός. (Or well, you could say it but the meaning changes. The first sentence means 'Nikos is a doctor', qnd the second means more or less 'It is Nikos who is the doctor' (it is emphasising the noun). Do you agree with that or do you have other explanations to it? Also, could you please explain, if you have time, why the proffesions don't take an article after the verb 'to be', and why they do take an article when being the subject (Ο γιατρός μου είπε...)? I am sorry to hear that. Could you explain your difficulty? I might be able to make some things more clear for you.

Thanks for the videos, i really learn with them. I have a question tho, in the phrase "τα λουλούδια είμαι για την μητέρα", why is it "τα λουλούδια" instead of "H λουλούδια"? In the last video we saw the articles and there wasn't any "τα"
