However, they have been overrun by many foreign armies and deeply care about their own sovereignty and choice to be themselves. The EU has been very hard on them in many ways. I remember taking a taxi past the government building in the center of Athens and the taxi driver pointing to it and saying that was where the criminals lived. They are very aware of how corrupt governments are.

Well, the point with "Israel is stronger" is (in my opinion) the fact that one side has much more capabilities and therefore more responsibilities in solving the conflict than the other. Both sides are to blame historicaly, but one cant deny the fact that the power balances are highly uneven. After the US had defeated the Germans, it was also their responsibility to build up the defeated in order of a safe and prosperous future for the region. At least that is expected from a western democracy with high moral standards.

That’s completely incorrect, while there are some Palestinians who are descendants of Arabs from Muslim conquest, the majority of Palestinians are descendants non Arab people of specifically Canaanites/Amorites, the Neolithic indigenous groups who existed on the land before the Canaanites, and lastly the 12 tribes. We aren’t self proclaimed, we’re indigenous and unlike Israelis, we have the DNA tests to prove it.

Yeah genetic studies show modern day Palestinians can trace heritage back to the Canaanites, as can the Lebanese and many Jews native to the area.
