I loved Green Acres growing up and still watch the reruns on Me-Tv every night at 9:30 Pm..It was one of the funniest sitcoms on television 📺..Lisa was quite a dish very beautiful and very well respected..The rest of the cast was phenomenal each one playing a comical role..😁👍
Reggie Benson isn't happy with your comment, but I, loving Lucy as much as anyone, have to agree with you. Eva was a comic genius in her own right. And absolutely gorgeous as well.
My Mom always told a story of meeting Eva and ZaZa Gabor in the ladies room of the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas in 1955 , they were very pleasant to anyone they spoke too. but addressed each other only in Hungarian. My Mom always finished by saying their beauty was breath taking.
Saw this episode for the first time yesterday on METV. Wow, she was even more attractive with her shortlooking wet blond hair. I often admire her big, soft looking blond curls...but was espically smittened in an episode where she briefly sports a cute, straight burnette cut...she looked totally differnet and even MORE adorable as a brunette! Funny, as a youngester watching when the show originally aired, one didnt quite appreciate just how youthful, attractive and lovable she was..
I too wear blue eyeshadow and false eyelashes in the shower

As long as that's all you're wearing, then I don't see anything wrong with that! I went to church with a girl Named Heidi when I was a kid, German girl with waist length platinum blonde hair. She'd wear it in pigtails and drive us boys crazy!!
I had a friend and his Grandpa use to tell us that he had "compromising photos of her", yeah I know he used the wrong word, it was funny to us, but when he died he told me that his Grand mother actually found both the pictures and the negatives and burned them.
Green Acres is the place to be. Farm liven is the life for me. Land spread out so far and wide. Keep Manhattan just give me that country side. No New Year is were I rather stay. I get a alergic smelling hay. I just adore a penthouse view. Darling I love you but give me back avenue. The chores! The stores! Fresh air! Time square! You are my wife. Good bye city life. Green Acres we are there. As you can see I grow up watching allot of Green Acres.
Virginia Mayo was also interviewing for the role. She was a beautiful woman too, but the series wouldn't be as funny because the writers were able to make fun of Mrs. Douglas's hungarian accent.
@@trythinkingforachange4201 Boy, talk about a comment not aging well. The results were fantastic under Trump. Under Biden, it’s been a FAR different story however.
I don't know if they ever met but Eva Gabor WAS kind of related to Paris Hilton since her niece (Zsa Zsa's daughter) Francesca Hilton was the youngest woman's half-great-aunt via Francesca's father Conrad being Paris's great-grandfather! IMO, Eva was, by far, the nicest of the both families.
You could see how short and mousey her real hair was not the big updo pieces we were used to seeing . I read in a book all the Gabor's wore hair pieces be cause they had "the hair of a toad" . They were so glamorous yet it was all smoke a mirror. Not that there is anything wrong with that!
