@@williamhermann6635 no argument there. I was talking about the run the table stretch where they won 8 games straight. I'd put that stretch of play against any period of his career. He was dominant
I remember after the interceptions started to happen in this game, the crowd started to taut chant "Russell ...Ruussell ...Ruuussell" whenever Seattle had the ball. I laughed my ass off...so many picks. It was nice to have a little sweet, sweet vengeance on the Seahawks.
@@tonystank9739 I am not, I am just saying packers choked in the playoffs, which they did, they also almost choked against an injured seattle team, smh
@@weneedhim526 What year? The Packers have choked A LOT in the playoffs. But, that's what happens, when you only miss the play-offs 7 times since 1993 and only have 2 Super Bowl wins in the same time period.
So sweet beating Seattle down 3 times after that 2014 nfc championship game... I'm still traumatized by that game bro It'll never leave my memory... I remember those last 5 minutes, so happy I thought we were going to the superbowl 😪🤦♂️
I just love watching recaps on all greenbay games...they did awesome jobs thru out every season. Win or lose will always be my team...cheese head for life 💚💛
I can only imagine this, but I would love to meet wildly fanatic Packers fans in Green Bay. Nothing like the fun aura of Packers football! And actually I'm a Bears fan of all people ...
Scooby Carr honestly the stadium was fucking nuts, first time going to a packers game and this was the one. The environment was insane. The only thing that sucked was that it was super cold during this game and i had to get feet warmers for my snow boots.
I remember watching this game live and laughing at my friend who’s a Seahawks fans face and to this day I still remind him that Russell Wilson threw 5 int in one game😂
Andrew Fischbach idk about that bud our defense was above average, it’s hard to believe the falcons blew us out in the championship game way too many damn mistakes
clealxo No, it definitely wasn’t above average. We were 29th in TDs allowed and 21st in yards. Even worse, our 5th corner, Ladarius Gunter, was starting across from Julio. We had no business being there and the only reason we came close was because of Rodgers
I’ve matured enough that when they don’t play one another, I don’t care if they win or lose. But when they play GB, I want them to get blown out every time. Pains me that they haven’t beat Wilson in Seattle.
3:16 bruh how did Rodgers get it away from that jumping defender. The angle doesn't help, but it looks like he's right in front of him. Crazy how he can make those throws with the flick of his wrist.
Miss this game memories especially being in Arizona that year of hail Mary and buying 23 Randall and 21 Clinton Dix jerseys I was looking loyal to the bone
Even in this beat down it showed how terrible our secondary was. They got a lot of picks off tipped balls for once but Jesus Christ tackling was terrible. Hope 2019 brings some stellar D and a revamped offense!! Go Pack Go!
Man GOPACKGO!!! Still cant get over that NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME THO 💯😒😭 including 2015 when jordy got out mayuunnn.... if we had him that year guarantee we win the super bowl !!! I mean our defense that year was pretty good man it was just our offense .... 😝
Add Jared Cook to that list for me. And I don't know what happened behind the scenes with Ty Montgomery, but it seems to me the guy stepped into every role they asked of him up until they parted ways...
In 2018 we were down by two to the Rams with a little over two minutes left. I believe the Rams had just scored, so we were receiving the kickoff. He was told to take the touchback. All he had to do was drop to his knee. Instead, he ran out of deep in the end zone and fumbled the ball. The Rams recovered, and it was game over from there. He was traded because he potentially cost us a game and couldn't follow a simple directive from his coaches. He threw a fit because he got taken out of the game for a drive. Whiny little baby.
I freaking hate having to go to lambeau field, this place is just death 💀 for us. We our going to have to play our best game ever just to have a chance in this place.
@@filibertoarrizonmelchor1508 I tend to agree with you, we never have much success in Green Bay and our season has ended with a loss there more times then I care to remember so your right, you have every advantage. I am just being real here because I know the Packers are a really good team. Hopefully both teams can get through this game without anyone else getting hurt.
Wouldn’t want to face Seahawks this year, especially in playoffs. Game against 49ers and second game against Vikings will be telling of how good of team Packers really are. Go Packs!
Adam Albright I think we are a good team as well but not as good as the record indicates. Looking back, our schedule was quite favorable. I still haven’t gotten over the losses to the Eagles and Chargers. We got dominated by the 49ers. By the Chargers too. I’m concerned when we face good teams in playoffs. Hope for a deep run
wow, watching this is december of 2022, after an incredible road win in miami to keep our playoff hopes alive, once again like this game, having 15-16 straight wins in december and needing help from other teams for a playoff push lmao.
Ober, you by any chance have that Thursday night game against the Vikings from 2014? I can't even find a a highlight video of it. And thanks for this series. These have gotten me through the offseason.
It was but the packers offense was not as good and arod was still in pain. Oh and of course Seattle had beast mode so he bailed them out in that 2014 NFC championship game. And the rest was history....
boa constrictor actually I agree, except the Jordy Nelson and rodgers and Cobb and davante wanted to drop passes (2in the end zone could’ve made the game way different obviously). And the biggest mistake in my opinion was Burnett’s decision to slide on the last INT with 5 whole minutes and SEA with 3 timeouts left. Then lacy couldn’t run it for a 1st down (ran on 1st 2nd and 3rd for negative yards), then .... you know..... onside kick
Only cause 2 receivers let the ball go through their hands, Kearse sucks and didn't make a play on the ball, Graham fell. 4 were not his fault, only one was the cross the body underthrow before the half.
One of the dumbest moves was getting rid of Jordy Nelson. I’m a huge packers fan but the management of the Packers has done everything to derail Farve and Rodgers. Two awesome qb’s and two super bowls. Although the last couple years has shown how human Rodgers is. I didn’t think he missed anything but when it’s NFC championship games Rodgers becomes human and looks average at best. Another stupid move was to put Ty Montgomery into a halfback. We only had 5 years of good defense in all the years those two have played. Might be a slight exaggeration but not much.
I don't really care that we lost this game, it was still a good game of football and you have the lambeau magic, I can't wait for the Seahawks to play against you guys again, and hopefully we can make it a slingshow ;)
