This is the everyday video of green cheek conure from egg until they grow and fly. I decided to handfeed them because their parents don't feed them. Will they survive? Join me on how I take care of them. I hope you like this video.
If things are not sanitized properly, or overfed...birds get infections very easy. .they are very fragile. Im not saying you did anything....im just saying as a bird mommy for years having an awesome Avian to help guide you is important. Two crop issues seems like a feeding infection issue. But you have three healthy cutie pies. ..alot of hard work and Love 💕 i have a baby cinnamon Conure...He is amazing! Conures are wonderful birds!!!!
Hi , my 1.5years conure start laying first egg yestarday, i fill she have more to lay , i see she didnt stay on the egg and today i order a incubator to have it to be sure, i wanna ask you if is better to put the eggs in incubator or to leave eggs in the nest , they have appart a wood box made by me where they have space to sleep and there i place near also a nest where is now first egg. We dont know what to do please give us a sugestion, thanks in advice!
@Zyghyofficial just let them do sit on the egg. Don't disturb them if she lays again just observe... if you want to put in incubator replace the egg with fake egg so you will now if she will sit on them when she fully lays all egg usually 3 to 6 eggs...
@@maryhurren6938 you never feed a chick strait on, you feed them via the left side of their mouth. They have one pipe that goes into their crop, the other lungs. Birds cannot simply cough something out when it goes down the wrong pipe, hence why you never feed birds the way he is in the video. Plus you have him treating spayed feet when he has them in a slippery container. Lots of things that any person who is watching should know before they take this as a good video to learn from.
You will do it if your Green Cheek doesn't incubate their eggs, if they do, Let them do it naturally and Let them hatch the eggs, if it's healty and you want to raised them as tamed birds get them and hand feed them 3 weeks oLd... sorry about my grammar. I hope you'll understand
4 to 6 times a day, just monitor the crop if almost or near empty feed them again... start feeding them at 7am, and the last feeding is 11pm. Just monitor 2 to 4 hours every feeding time,
Hi my conure pet bird gave first egg few days back they are one year do qe need any supplement or medicine? I m only keeping cuttle fish bone inside rheir cage always
Yeah, they need calcium supplements and vitamins... give more veg to them also... there are commercial products out there that you can give... try to search what's best in your area...
Please make sure you feed them papaya. It’s a good treat but not too many times or you probably can give it every day but make sure you’re also not feeding them too many birdseeds and make sure you clean the enclosure and make sure that you have orthopedic purchase so that they don’t hurt their feet and little hutches for them to sleep in
I have 3 one week olds. How are you keeping them warm without mommy? mine are still feeding theirs, but would like to wean them to hand fed Can you help?
It's a hand feeding formula made for birds you can search for DIY or you can buy Commercial Made product Like Kaytee or A19/A21 hand feeding formula for birds/parrots
It depends on the age and to the amount of formuLa do you feed... as Long you feed them and monitor the crop if its empty feed them again... more likely 3 to 4 hours betweem each feeding time...
Love the video!! I’m new to this and my mom bird randomly stopped incubating her eggs and actually ate 2 so I removed them and put them in the incubator. How long did they take to hatch? My first one is 22 days in And when should I start feeding them once hatched?
Thank you...🥰 Just wait to dry the baby hair/feather or just check if you put your hands they want food... around plus minus 30 minutes, usually they hatched 23 to 25 days with interval of 2 to 3 days per egg... feed them every hour with thin mixture of formula
@@araastv1728 Thank you so much for your response it’s greatly appreciated. One last question was is the correct temperature and humidity for them? Currently on 99.0f and 66% humidity for the hatching one and 37.8c with 70% humidity for the incubator with rotating eggs every 90 minutes
@Live_laugh_squawk That's fine...😊 your temp and humidity are right as long it will not come too high above 38.5 or too low below 35, maintain between 36.5 to 38 for incubator... for brooding the hatchLing maintain 36 to 37 for the 1st week and 33 to 35 for the 2nd week 30 to 35 for the 3rd week and 4th week 27 to 30 or untiL the feathers is coming out just maintain the normal room temp...
@Live_laugh_squawk You can set my brooder temp as a guide, but you can also just divide for the 1st 14 days and adjust the temp for the 3rd and 4th week...
@@araastv1728 no luck yet as today marks day 25 and the egg is half white is that normal? You can still see some veins but can’t make out any shape of a bird lol
The egg hatched today. I fed him once a while ago. How many times should I feed him a day? HELP please!! I want my baby to live Already lost 3 baby bairds 😢😢
If the baby is handfed, you can buy a ready-made hand-feeding formula like Kaytee or A19/21. Seeds and nuts also provide protein, and sprouted legumes such as mung beans and chickpeas are good options. You can also give boiled eggs for soft food-just add a small amount of mixed veggies. Be cautious not to overfeed. Hope this helps! Happy New Year! 🎆🥳💥"
You can give every hour for the 1st 3 days and every 2 hours on the following day unti 1 week oLd and continue just don't over fed and then monitor the crop how many hours empty and follow that timing for the next feeding...
did you tie his feet? I've never seen something so sad and mean with parrots. if you are not equipped and you do not want to keep up with them in case they walk then STOP RAISING them! Please stop!!! Why are you doing that?
@@araastv1728 don't worry about what they've been saying. It is because they don't know what's it for. Sometimes we need to fix splay legs for them as well so that it will correct their feet. It is their for a reason. If you don't know what it means then don't say anything bad to the owner.
3 to 4 times a day... much better monitor his crop give 10% of his weight for example 60grams of it's weight give 6 cc of food and monitor the time when the crop is empty you should feed them when the crop is nearly empty every time... approximately 3 to 4 hours the crop is empty.. sorry for my bad English
@@araastv1728 ok thanks, I can understand you very well. I want to buy pineapple conure. I am planning to buy 1 month old conure. I am not sure what type of feeding mixture will be healthy and proper.
@@araastv1728 thank you for ur reply. I have one yellow side conure. Would like to learn more videos about hatching bird eggs and breeding baby birds. Do u have tutorials like these in your channel? I think my conure is a boy, I would like to find a girl for him and I don’t know if they will have baby in future. Lol. Birds are so much fun.
