I hope all of you that are grossed out about them putting these chemicals into our water realize that hospitals do it too...not every city approves those laws but I know mine does, look into it.
Unfortunately, not all states have approved of the process as yet. Over the last 25 years all of my passed relatives chose to be cremated, all by flame. Both myself and my ex-wife have chosen to be cremated also by standard flame methods.
It's the very same process as a natural burial, all though much faster. The same way Earth breaks down a body, with far less a carbon footprint than flame cremation.
There's not much about aftercare that's pleasant. What most people don't realize is how harmful for the environment traditional cremation is. This method eliminates harmful emissions (including mercury & arsenic), destroys any harmful pathogens or drugs (like chemotherapy), and uses 90% less energy.
Jesus Christ. Can we stop the harmful for the environment crap? Even in death? Suicide is good for the environment, too. One less "polluter" in the world. One volcanic Eruption is way more "harmful" for the environment than all human cremation put together.
