I want to do Jaded at karaoke, but I can't imagine singing Brain Stew before it. I think it would sound annoying, and everyone would be running out of the building before I got to Jaded.
Yeah, I can feel that, it's an awesome song but kind of drags on. I guess it really just depends on the crowd and how you feel about them that night, it definitely changes. I would like to see a different mix with the interlude into Jaded cut from 45 seconds down to 10-15, that extended delay would be the only reason I wouldn't do this one myself, it's not always comfortable standing up there lol.
@@charlesdjones1 I just discovered that the bar I go to has the Karafun version, with just Jaded and not Brain Stew. I got to sing it last week and it was fun, though I did stumble a little on the second verse because the song is so fast and I didn't practice it enough times.
@@clashfan26 that's awesome. Yeah Jaded was one I wasn't comfortable doing for like a month, I've been practicing it at the house and everytime it was like "not my thing." So a couple days ago I went back to this track and did it again, and it just flowed, I was like "finally!" It's definitely all about the timing and how you emphasize certain syllables on this one. Haven't hit up the karaoke bar in a few months so I'm getting anxious to try out all these new Green Day and STP songs I've learned thanks to CC, lol.
@@charlesdjones1 I've done quite a few Green Day songs over the years. "Jaded" is by far the fastest and shortest. "She" is another fun one, even though it's not as well-known as their more popular songs. Once you learn it and practice it a few times, it's a pretty easy song to sing. Good luck on your next visit to your karaoke bar. Let us know how it goes.
It's the original track minus the vocals, but uncompressed, so there will be slight differences in the volume of each instrument as compared to brick versions.
I suppose the simplest answer is; Sing King has 8 million subs and always shows up first in the search results. I always show up second. Really, in general, it's just the battle to show up higher in search results. Also to create familiarity/trust in the CC logo so people look for it over other options. There's so many people trying to do the same thing that it just takes a while to build. I'm gettin there though. :)
