you never truly realize how amazing their songs are until you listen to everything separate. the acapella, guitar, drumming and bass lines are all wonderful on their own, and combined into the amazing bomb that is the song... i guess it overwhelms a bit? our minds cant handle green day.
+JsinXx Actually it ruined this song for me a little. I just realized that almost every popular song is just another cover of Pachelbel's Canon in D which is just four notes played over and over. And Basket Case is not an exception. :(

I love this album is awesome alot of the songs are some of the bands most memorable and iconic and they sound brilliant I love the guitar and drums especially
The tone of everything. The guitar, especially with those open chords (you should seriously listen to the guitar’s isolated master track), the insane bass tone, which is clearly audible throughout the track, and that SNARE TONE. I can’t get enough of it

Sounds a lot like Ska without the vocals... interesting. Beautiful song, though its super simple. Just rolls off the tongue so to speak. structure is basically perfect
