Totally agree and want to believe that as a fan ! And I somewhat believe it. Still, beware that this video is marketing propaganda released by the promoters of the HMT. They have an obvious interest into promoting Green Day as being a best friends forever band. Went to the last show of the tour in Paris, and although it was a great show, everything seemed to be very scripted with absolutely 0 interaction between them.
@@linuxfacile I watched a random fall out boy radio interview recently where they were asked about this tour and one of them said how he was surprised by how close Green Day are, how they always hang out with each other and how well they get along even after all these years
@Cubo Doesn't seem right looking at the warp up shows they played for hella mega. Over there billie joe literally played father of all twice in a row for fun Edit: talking about this whiskey a go go show: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yCV1Dc7vz-k.html
Went to the last show of the HMT run in Paris and they indeed played a "greatest hits" setlist. I don't think this has anything to do with the band, but rather with the tour promoter. The HMT serves a single purpose : generate as much cash as possible. Seems pretty obvious that within the loads of paperwork Green Day signed before cashing in the mountains of dollars, there's a little line requiring a greatest hits playlist every night. Would have been difficult to sell out arenas around the world with their latest dance record. (Beware, I might sound extremely arrogant here but that's normal, I'm French. I do love their latest record :D)
The Hella Mega Tour was amazing. I’m glad i got to go last year. The trio is just amazing. I love their humor so much, they honestly make my day. They are all just very nice people.
I also saw them last year, I saw them in Miami. They put on such an amazing, I enjoyed every second of it. I also saw Fall Out Boy and Weezer and they were also amazing and flawless. Hella Mega Rules!🤘🎸 They all also seem to be really fun, nice, and amazing people👍
(Just in case the band sees this video and even cares to read the comments) Dear Green Day band, San Diego Ca welcomes you back again and again for infinity! "Walking Contradiction" was the first MTV video I saw and your "Nimrod" tape was the first piece of music I ever asked my mom to buy. Thanks - yours truly, a 37 year old Fan
I was at the one in Berlin on July 1st and it was awesome as usual but I was a little disappointed that they almost only played old songs. I love they're albums from the past 10 years, I would have loved to hear some of those songs. Anyway, I love them so fucking much.
I love Tre and Mike! And respect Whitey and the others. Butbcomenon. Billy is just so fucking adorable. Going to see them twice on days in Jume. Headlining and closing the Isle.Of White Festival. Them 15 minutes from my own home in a show Scotland.
Yeah everyone had to stay in their own camps sadly to be safe. Had a couple friends in Weezer's camp mention that was one of the precautions that were in place.
@Lachlan Trescott yeah I think it was more that if one of the bands gets sick, they can probably find a fill in band, but if they all do then the concert would be cancelled
you that point in a drummers career where their playing form almost looks childish? Then at one point they bring their arms in and stop looking like they are flailing around. Tre never got out of that. He looks like he is having so much fun playing.
You mean the fun stuff in the video? That's normal on tour, recreation comes out of the tour funds so artists don't go crazy living the same day after day. You should what pop stars get to do on tour
you neither informed yourself about touring life nor can you even spell the name of the person youre criticising. go embarrass yourself some more pls, peak comedy
is your brain really this small to think they and their huge crew would be able to easily fly publicly without there being a huge mayhem about it, delaying and endangering everyone and everything
