They never fail to surprise their fans. I love this band so much. It's just amazing to see this. It brings a new light to older songs. Very refreshing indeed.

This was the first Green Day song and album I heard, and I used to not like them, but as my parents played them more, I ended up falling in love with their music. Middle school was rough for me learning wise and I was homeschooled one year so it was rougher and I was really depressed and angry. I ended up getting strep throat that same year too, and Green Day’s music was there for me. All I wanted to do was listen to their stuff because it made me feel heard, seen, and I felt like someone was there to talk to me. Now I’m graduated from high school and have a job that I love despite its stressors. I still listen to Green Day when I’m feeling down or just need a band to help me feel less angry, and I thank these guys for being here throughout it all. Also Billie sounds so young here! He’s only about my age recording this!

Fue el álbum que convirtió a aquella banda en una de las formaciones de punk más importantes del mundo. Mientras que el underground les cerraba las puertas, el mundo entero se rendía a sus pegadizas canciones, descubriendo gracias a “Dookie” que el punk también podía ser asequible, plural y hasta radioformulable. Para celebrar sus treinta años se lanza "Dookie 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition", un lanzamiento que incluirá el disco original, diecisiete maquetas inéditas, tres descartes y dos conciertos del grupo de aquel mismo año. En una presentación de dos cajas de seis vinilos y una caja de cuatro discos compactos. También se reeditará el álbum original en vinilo de color azul. Entre ese material se incluye un directo grabado ese mismo año, 1994, en la mítica sala Garatge Club de Barcelona. El vídeo recoge aquella actuación y es el cuarto track del disco. Música independiente novedades.
