I was born in 1950, so I experienced the two greatest decades in modern music history. The 60s produced so much new music and so many talented and driven musicians from America and the UK. I never thought there would be another such musical revolution in my lifetime. And then the 90s happened. Greenday was a huge part of that time.

Isn’t it odd how things a moment are there, we get lost there and suddenly we are here and need to be reminded of memories deep in the corners of that universe inside us. So beautiful how we can feel from the past in the present and towards the future. An exciting time to be a human being nevertheless. Young men out there test yourself be adventurous and practice entrepreneurship even if you fail it will be the best lesson about yourself and how much you want something and not necessarily reject it but find a way to accept change and improvement. Dong get caught out in fear of kissing out; your 20’s are the years to form your character of course you can still do it later in life but mind that bodies performance chance faster for sons of us and nature catches up with us. Be aware of your mortality not in a negative sense but in a beautiful opportunity to ask yourself everyday what one thing I can start doing today that will be wholly good without pretending to be rewarded by admiration but rather to let goodness be without emotional taxation. Be safe and happy my humans of today and tomorrow and I thank those that already left for because of them and despite them we are here, in communion with ideas and concepts, mere circumstances.

It’s great to see young kids discovering Green Day. Music just isn’t the same nowadays... I grew up listening to bands like Green Day, yellow card, blink 182, linkin park, Coldplay, etc. Give a few a listen if you haven’t heard of them. It’s sad most of my peers don’t know many of those bands I just don’t get how they can’t.

I just checked out yellow card and blink 182. I'm sure my kids have listened to them, but I hadn't heard of those 2 bands. I saved a playlist from each for later. I'm almost 62 and enjoy (most) all genre of music thanks to my kids (31-25 yrs old) and growing up in 60s-70s.

Now all artist sing about is drugs, sex, alcohol and other bullshit, which by the way I can't even understand, since they can't even write down two words together properly. Modern popular music turned into a shit hole in my eyes, before 2010 (or about this time) people would put their soul in lyrics, in their creations, and now..

I am 43 and I was able to share this concert with my sister who is 10 years younger than me And my daughter who is 24 years younger than me And it was the best time EVER Green Day is definitely a timeless band that anyone who appreciates epic music and lyrics will always be drawn to no matter what their age And I truly felt drawn to them at the concert, no judgment no ridicule no matter who you are or what your believe in. The people that judge just because they don’t agree or understand are the ones we need to worry about the most.

Remember listening to basket case and it's song playing in my head all day as I rode a bicycle delivering kfc on the streets of Port of Spain (capital of Trinidad and Tobago for those that don't know)I just couldn't get tired no matter how much I rode that bike from 10am to 10pm...I guess it helped that I was 18 years at the time and now discovering alternative /punk /grunge...the year was 1998....now I'm 40....will 41 in 2 months and they still sound awesome. ..well that's an understatement. ..words can't describe listening to them during this 2nd wave of covid 19 infections that has caused our country to go on a partial lockdown. They take you away from this distopian reality to a time before that was so surreal yet we took for granted...Like hugging someone or going to the park or eating in a restaurant or just taking a walk...and all without having to wear a mask....Everyone ....Keep safe...We will be ok...Remember after the 1918 pandemic there was the roaring twenties ...full of prosperity and opportunities. ..So I guess history repeats itself...I'm looking forward to when the entire world reopens...I want to visit Warsaw and Vienna. ...Who is going with me.....let me know......;)

They are one of my all time favorite bands!! I have been listening since the beginning of their career. I have seen them in concert more than any other band. They ROCK! I am glad to hear that another generation has discovering them. I would recommend "The Presidents of the United States of America" Lump is one of my favorite songs. Just got tickets to see Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and the Linda Lindas! Thankfully I got a presale code and got incredible seats. Can't wait to see them next summer! It's a two-time bucket list concert bill for me and my husband.
