Tre Cool's drumming never fails to wow me. That guy is one of the most underrated drummers in all of rock; he's so passionate up there, and the fact that he can still play so hard and fast is just fucking amazing.

Man, this was a fantastic Green Day sound. Billie, Mike, and Tré had matured beyond their punk rock beginnings but weren't quite at the worldly angst era famously cemented into American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown. Warning is such an underrated album, and one that's loaded with great tracks.

Warning had some of Green Day's finest moments. Lyric-wise, Billie was at his best. It's crazy to think this was just 2 albums after Dookie. And for American Idiot to follow. It boggles my mind. They evolved so much in such a short time, I only wish I were old enough to have witnessed the evolution rather than experiencing in hindsight. They are one of the greatest gifts the music world has given us. And their evolution was taken for granted or dismissed as "selling-out" despite their sound being the trendsetter, not the follower.
