Marty used to order your DVD’s back in the day and still reference your guitar theory lessons. You’ve taken me to official beginner level guitar where I can play around a camp fire. I’m ready to get to the next level, playing more up and down the neck, understand intervals and scales better to create my own sound, and hearing something being played in the key of a note and being able to implement based off of knowing what sounds good together. Your an inspiration brother, thank you for giving us so much knowledge over the years!
I taught guitar over twenty years and after this song came out it became one of the songs I taught all my students as soon as they started learning barre' chords. Great song, thanks for sharing.

The double bar chord is difficult for me, my index does it fine but the tip of my ring finger is bent permanently at a 160 degree angle and wont press down properly. Definitely going to need some practice with this

I've never played the guitar and I just started practicing... I can't tell you how overjoyed I am that I can confidently say I can play this song on the guitar! It's my favorite too! It amazes me how someone who's never played a song on a guitar in their life can learn to play one in less than an hour and a half! I'm still struggling on those bar chords (Can't hit it fast enough) but thank you so much!
Bought an electric guitar like 2 days ago and began learning this song. Never played guitar before. Still beginning to learn the intro and the beginning of the riff/slide down, I'm like 3 minutes in but it's satisfying to sit here and strum this so I can't wait to learn the rest!

Regarding Barr chords, this is the way to get around it, If there are six notes strumming downwards lets say, then finger notes 3, 4, and 5 only. Forget 1 the base note, forget 2 and 6 which is too high anyway. This really works and means you can easily knock out this tune using three fingers.
