Just went 3 weeks ago to the small animal auction. Going this Friday to auction to buy pigeons for my new pigeon loft . The prices at auction there are unbeatable.
A remarkable place. Started going there in 1954. A Friday ritual. We had a stand there for many years. Also at Zen’s, Stout’s, and Saturday’s Market. We sell Watkins. Great memories. New Holland Meats at Green Dragon sells the best stuffed pig stomachs.
That is so awesome to know you had a stand there!!! Is Watkins household products? The name is familiar but I can’t recall what the products are. And yes, such a super fun place to go!!!!
I go to there every Friday for the last 10 years. I remember when the original animal auction house burned down. Old electric wires was to blame. Now it’s a furniture store :( but I never go there for that 1. Newswangers sausage! Jane is the best 9:39 2. Lapp Valley ice cream. (If you go in the summer the almond joy milkshake is great) 3. Amish salad stand ( not salad salad think macaroni salad and ham salad) 14:14 (it’s not in the video frame but it’s right next to the sunnyside stand 4. Lemonade (in the summer there is this one lone stand with a nice lady working there every week 6:07 It’s fresh homemade lemonade I would not go to any other stand because it’s watered down Hope these tips Help
Yeah but unlike any store, these products aren’t sprayed with chemicals and pesticides like on a commercial farm. So your getting organic at wholesale price! Plus you get to support local farms and Amish!
@@Lost_AtSea_ How do you know they weren't just mixing in pesticide sprayed produce right off the produce distributor's truck. That is a practice that has been reported on all over the US and Canada.
