I have the ecto black & I upgraded the motor to a Hobbywing Fusion Pro 2n1 2300kv, built in ESC & with F.O.C. Technology & the difference is night & day! I'm using the stock pinion & haven't had any issues! I also upgraded my servo to an EcoPower waterproof that's made for rock crawlers & got a waterproof box by Injora for my receiver & drove her 15 minutes in water & she handled it like a boss! I just gotta get wheel upgrades & add a little metal bits here & there, but I love the Ecto!

I added a small bungee cord above the rear of the frame attached to the joint of the sway bar. I made it just long enough to prevent the rear from rising and allow full articulation. It really helped keep the rear planted

Ya that brushless set up needs a sensor wire. Only way to go brushless with out a sensor wire is an out runner motor. They have a butt load of torque.

What kind of paint do you use to paint the white walls

That brushless setup is good for bashers. Not great for crawlers or cars that needs a smooth power transition.

Im going to add dually wheels in the rear, do you think that would work?
