I rode this for the first time a year ago and it was really fun. I had that sinking feeling at the first two drops, though. Still worth it. Not sure if I want to go again this year.
I walk here all the time. Kinda weird seeing that the new apartments are there in this video. I don't even remember what it looked like just five years ago
I went on this today by myself. I’m well under the weight limit but for some reason my raft couldn’t make it to the top of the first hill. I slid backwards then up towards the beginning then back down again. I had to wait there about 5 minutes for a lifeguard to come rescue me.
Was this in texas? I forget were but my family goes to the one close to fort worth every summer and i can say ive wrode that atleast 40 times so badass
The only bad thing about this slide is that the line takes forever. People got stuck 4 times on top of the already long line when someone gets stuck the have to stop the water evacuate the riders start the water which alone took 2 minutes then the life guard has to test it then the people who got stuck gets to ride again which I get. Then finally the start letting people on the ride again. And that happened 4 TIMES and it took 2 hours!!
I went on this one with my mom and there was nothing that we did that broke the rules we were not over the height or weight limit, but there was an issue near the end of the water slide on the last time we went up after the drop we almost made it in but we didn't have enough momentum and fell back down backwards. It was extremely scary for the both of us. Definitely never riding this again.
I've always have taken mine. Though one life gaurd try to tell me it was against the law to have a video camera on the rides. I just laughed and kept using my gopro
