Hydrogen, along with other locally accessed clean energy, can become the basis for a revived economy in dying rural towns and villages throughout Ireland. CH4 --> C + 2H2, methane pyrolysis yields cheaper hydrogen with no CO2 emissions. The carbon, C, is buried. This Hydrogen is super green if the methane is from biowaste reuse. Water uses more energy to make green hydrogen. You end up giving away oxygen, no charge.
