Green Lake Camping VIC (1 July 2024)

I spent a few days camping at Green Lake in the northern Victoria Mallee region. Caretaker Peter and his wife Arlene are lovely. Had a great few nights here. No fish caught. Lots of birds. Interesting walking trails (mind, but don't kill, the huntsmen under the marker lids lol) Lots of flat sites. Enjoyed my time there. Sneak peak at Tchum Lake South & Watchem Lake at the end.
Filmed with a Sony HDR-X3000 and photos taken with Nikon D750. Edited with Vegas Pro 15.

I've forgotten what its like to get back to nature and this video is a reminder to me of how much I do miss it and how nature can help reset yourself for every day people life🙂. Thanks so much for sharing and the reminder!

Stayed pretty much in the same spot as you over the back in November 2023 for 5 nights. I agree with you it is a good camp

Just stumbled across your video today and we are heading north from Melbourne on the weekend and Green Lake looks like a nice stopover on our way north. I haven't been in there before, thanks for posting this.

Great Video. We love Green Lake we were the caretakers about 18 months ago and really enjoyed our time there. Peter’s new cabin/office looks good, we will have to call in soon. 😊

Well, I did think of bower birds, but I didn’t see any around, and they weren’t mentioned on the markers, plus the bowers those birds make aren’t quite like that. But maybe, lol, I’m no expert.
