Late spring climb to one of my honey holes on the cliffs. I find EXACTLY what I am looking for and WAY more than I hoped! I also just realized I brought home fire opal! Perfect day, except for the bugs. Opal hike on the volcano!
I miss you, brother. Miss your mountain/volcano adventures, your mystery green material, and your zeal for it all. I hope you're surrounded by the pretties, thanks for sharing it with us while you were here.
Sorry i missed the premier! Blame Rufotris! But i watched after the podcast and that stuff is gorgeous! And fire opal! Wow! And when you said its prettier then jade, its true! I was thinking thinking it looked like jade, right before you said that! Its gorgeous! The color, and the beautiful translucence! My god its absolutely fabulous! Yep! Find of the year for sure! Sorry i missed the premier! Thank you for sharing!!!
No problem! Sometimes it take me a bit to recognize when I find something really good. I had a piece at home for a year or two before I worked it and realized how good it was. Amazing I was able to return to the spot and find the source! Thanks for watching Lisa
Can you believe I moved away from there? It used to be 15 minutes drive from my home, now its 1 hr each way! Who finds a treasure mountain and moves away? Thanks for watching.
Aw man, that green opal is insanely beautiful! Youre right that stuff is prettier than Jade. That fire opal is killer too, holy smokes. I also really liked the light blue, opal I think it was too. Hahaha, you got so excited when you pulled out that massive chunk. True treasure of the volcano. Its too bad about the bugs though. Looked a little warm too eh. Betcha couldn't of asked for a better day though. Never get tired of those views up there. Great job on all those cabs too, buddy. Sorry, I couldn't watch the premier due to my job. But, was definitely my first video today. Was looking forward to watching it and I knew you wouldn't disappoint. 😁👍 I also enjoyed your little bonus geological feature at the end, it was very interesting.
Is this Rose Valley? There is a place up Bear Creek Road that is full of Opals in the road cut with lots of agates and thunder eggs near by. If you go up further there is blue limestone full of fossilized crinoids a light coloured marble. Kelowna rock club goes up there.
Common opal won't make you rich but with that great color it would sell well and make some great jewelry! I thought only Indonesia had blue opal (opalized petrified wood). This is different, but still awesome! I wish we could find stuff like that in Ontario. I do cabbing. Do you sell cabbing rough?
Amazing man..I’m really happy I stumbled upon your channel This video helped me with a find i wasn’t 100% sure with here in Austria.. It seems here’s green potch opal in the mountains of Austria too
