I looked on your website for the recipe. I am not sure if products have different names there, but "powdered sugar" is not simply "granulated sugar that's been run through a blender." Powdered sugar, here in the USA, is not granulated sugar, but an entirely different product. (I believe it is super-fine sugar blended with cornstarch. The end result is truly a "powder.") Getting granulated sugar into smaller crystals is what we call "super-fine sugar." It has no cornstarch mixed in and is just like table sugar/granulated sugar/"regular, everyday" sugar, but the crystals have been cut smaller. Hope this helps. (And you may want to adjust your website's instructions if you have American viewers, who will be entirely confused by that section's instructions, otherwise!)

Hi Lisa, you are correct. She is using powdered sugar and not fine sugar. Blending granulated sugar is just a tip for a substitute. Starch can be added optionally during blending. We will include this information on the site. Thank you for pointing it out. - Admin

@@nyonyacooking You're welcome. (But the point is, super-fine sugar is not the same as powdered sugar and will yield a different result. The starch in powdered sugar acts differently from "naked" sugar, which is what both granulated and super-fine sugars are. Anyway, not sure if you understood me so I thought I'd say it another way.) Thanks for the quick response. I love this channel and binge-watched many videos last night.

Can i using already roasted green peas instead the frozen one, because I'm too lazy to bake it. and if i using the roasted green peas, is the total weight same as the frozen one. Sorry for my broken english

What about dried peas to make the dough?

I tried it but did not like the flavour. It has a bitter after taste which I was not able to get rid (through dry baking or frying). Even adding more sugar did not help. Added to that, the cookies were very dense with dried green peas flour. With fried or baked green peas, you'll really get to taste the flavour of the green peas :D
