I was today years old when I found out that coriander is cilantro! Went to a few stores thinking no one had it and then someone schooled me 🤦🏾♀️😂 anywho! It came out perfect! Thanks!
My mum is from Dominica I showed her your channel today she said this is a real Caribbean woman and where is her restaurant, she subscribed straight away
Saka fete Terri-Ann! I really appreciate the fact that you mute the sounds of the blender, food processor, knife hitting cutting board, etc. Absolutely love your channel . Thanks for the recipes.
I literally just ran to Aldi to get the ingredients after watching your previous green seasoning video- then I discover this new upload! Thank you, it turned out lovely and I’ll be using it for my oxtail later ☺️
This looks like a wonderful way to preserve fresh ingredients, too! When I buy green onions/cilantro/limes especially, they tend to wilt before I can use them all. Definitely going to use this technique.
For us it's sofrito. We use sweet peppers, onion and oregano vs green onion, thyme and spice peppers. It varies from group to group and depending on what I'm cooking. Love the videos! Cooking WELL or even great is a form of showing love when you feed people.
Using your green seasoning recipe with my own additions. added a small onion, bunch parsley and red bell pepper for color (didn't have peppers). Yummy on my salmon. About to use it on whole chicken. Thanks Terri-Ann!
You must be or was a teacher! The cooking tutorial and narration in your videos are so well done and beautifully simplified.. No more dark muddy looking green seasoning for me. Heads and shoulders above most of the others..Ms Terri.
I’ve watched this video many times in the past few years and said I will make this. I FINALLY bought me a blender and processor yesterday and I will make this as soon as I get the ingredients I don’t have in my fridge. I’m so excited!
Teri Ann I really love your channel. You explain and break down everything in detail. Your food recipes looks so impressive and amazing. I will be using this green seasoning recipe, when I make my batch of green seasoning. Thank you for sharing your recipes with us.❤️❤️
You’re right on time! Watched your video from 5 months ago. Bought the ingredients yesterday. A lot of cultures have a type of green seasoning...so many influences. Love that everybody can do their own twist on this. Terri Ann, you rock❤️🍷
So glad I came across your channel you show alot of people how simple and easy great tasting food is there's alot of people out there that depend on ready meals to get by great info for them your a pleasure to watch well done you x
Looks really good, this is on my list to try. Only thing I would have done is split the garlic and cut out any growth/root, it can cause upset stomach or heartburn.
I watch and observe you carefully when making the spices for cooking 🥘 before starting your meal 🥘; and I kind a liking it and I definitely going to make it and I enjoy cooking and tank you for sharing; and congratulations 🎊🎉 Happy cooking .Yummy
Made a batch of this today. Love the smell of my kitchen also. Thanks for sharing. My fish was extra tasty with this. I can't wait for Mac & cheese Thursday.
Thank you so much for shearing & ❤️ it In Ethiopia we use to spicy 🌶 food Which is Similar with your recipe called Kochkocha ❤️ We use it on different meat, salad & bread too ! So good & Yamm add salt & black pepper 👍
You never lied!! I did it once and was looking at faces to see it stank up. Nope, I was asked what I did different. You’re not getting my secret. I however forwarded the video AGAIN so they’ll get the hint.
Love it, I’m Dominican, we do very similar seasoning and we call it sofrito, but next time I do mine I will be doing the way you did it. Super amazing 😍🙌🏻💕, thank you
@@cocob73nb Sure. For a nice size batch. 3 green peppers, rough chop. A handful of small sweet peppers 3 med size white onions 2-3 bunches of cilantro 7-10 garlic cloves Of you are able to get culantro I would a handful or so. It's more pungent than cilantro and takes the flavor to a new level. Wash thoroughly. Put in blender. Sometimes I like my smooth. Other times I blend to get a salsa like consistency. You can put in ice cube trays and freeze. Hope this helps.
@@user-vg8ez9cu6u I used a red & yellow onion, red, green, yellow & orange bell peppers, cubanelle peppers, 2 whole bulbs of garlic, cliantro, thyme, rosemary, green onion, lemon & lime juice, oil. You can add or not add what you want tho
Hi Terri-Ann. I just made your green seasoning in my Magic Bullet. I don't have a chopper. So I will see how it comes out. Getting ready to make your stewed drumsticks for dinner.😊
@@TERRIANNSKITCHEN I'm sure will be good . Someone mentioned in the comments that the previous recipe had basil ....can you please tell me how much basil and coriander did you use . Did you add the coriander instead of the Basil ? This herby blend sounds very delicious and m going to give it a try .
Hey Terri Anne, I was wondering do you have any good breakfast recipes? The holidays are around the corner, was looking for recipes that are perfect for entertaining.
