All three of these are a staple in my cabinet. Thanks for sharing your opinion and look forward to your other Irish whiskey reviews. Except Bushmills. Slaine
The reviews will all be brief and covering the basics. From a perspective that you are standing in a liquor store and just want to quickly know what a bottle is like. 👍
Being part Irish myself, single pot still is the way to go imo. I very much enjoy all three of those. You really can’t go wrong with any Redbreast. But, one of my favorites that I feel like flies under the radar, is Powers Three Swallow. It’s delicious. Warming bright and sweet. I enjoy it especially in the fall. Yellow spot is also quite nice if you want to spend the money. Good luck to your channel. Great content so far. I’m looking forward to seeing more!
I have bottles of both Green Spot and Redbreast 12, and Powers, but not the John's Lane version. Looks like one I need to seek out in the future to try.
Haven't had the standard Green Spot but enjoy the special Chateau Montelena finished GS. Definitely the thicker Powers John's Lane 12 year is my favorite $65 Irish, so many great flavors. CHEERS!
I will always have a soft spot for Redbreast, especially the 12 which performs better than the ABV would suggest. Love to hear your thoughts on other Redbreasts like the CS. Really enjoying the videos, cheers!
Oh you know I got to ask for the Irishman Founders choice vs Harvest , should be the same juice just repackaged , but I will need your tasting skills , I hope they haven't messed with it .
Definitely, I never get any pepper with Green Spot. It’s salted caramel and green apple. Being a single pot still, there’s a hint of baking spice on the finish but it’s very light.
