In this video I present to you my newest Geometry Dash mod, BetterInfo. This modification contains several features:
- Profiles for unregistered users
- Browse levels made by green users
- Browse comments posted by green users
- Extended level info
- Extended user info
- List of personal bests in the attempts dialog
- Fix green user usernames
- Jump to page for comments
- Uncapped jump to page for levels
- View level comments directly from comment history
- Level IDs in LevelCell
- Visible daily IDs
- Search menu for individual levels
- Same Song
- Similar
- Neighbors
- A custom page that allows you to go to this content
- GDW Featured
- GDW Most Liked
- View the comment section of any arbitrary level ID
- Settings (disable green username fix, update check and/or extended level info)

Help? I can't install the new BetterInfo update. I replaced all the files to new ones but it still won't update, and still says I have 2.2.1 installed.

Is it possible to add an option to see the exact date a comment or level was posted, instead of saying like "3 years ago" or whatever. That'd be so helpful, especially for things like researching GD history, or seeing when I beat something based on an old profile post.

the game sadly doesn't provide that info, estimating dates for level ids is a part of a different project of mine though history.geometrydash.eu/date_estimator/

Another question, what does the "Level Search" tab in the BetterInfo menu do? There's nothing explaining it in the text box, and when I searched by the "completed", I thought it was organizing it by when I completed the level, but some levels were way off. I'm confused lmao. Really enjoying the mod though! :)

Neighbors searches the surrounding 100 level IDs (-50 and +49) and similar is an unused robtop search filter, so idk much about how it actually works

Somehow I get an IP timeout every time I try to search levels i've already completed. I think it downloads a lot of information way too fast, resulting in the IP ban. I don't know how you would fix this problem, as I really don't believe there is a way for it to be fixed. But it's a great mod, don't get me wrong. I just have this one issue that is making me not wanting to use it anymore.

Yeah, this usually isn't an issue but it can happen when the server is overloaded, which is pretty much every weekend for the past few weeks, so I'll have to address that

Set completed mode to percentage, set the range to 1 to 100 and check uncompleted

@@Quid0pher copy/cut+paste the files in the "resources" folder that was inside of the .rar, and put them (the files) inside the Geometry Dash "Resources" folder Then the .dll inside the "extensions" folder

@@X-JAKA7 wont ever happen unless we find a saved copy of the level in someones save file. the level on the server is literally deleted completly, no mod can let you play a level that doesnt exist anymore

@@Cvolton I have megahack v7 and I downloaded the extension and I already have the other extension that is needed for this one. I put it in my extensions folder and the game opens, and the main level and icon screen opens, but it crashed when I hit the right one.

This sounds like you only put in the dll from the zip in the correct place and not the resources though

you can use the inject dll feature in there to load the mod but I'd much rather recommend you to use quickldr to load it in this case, as then you won't have to worry about manually injecting it every time you open GD
