Greenhouse production: Sensors and good practice in fertigation 

Here in Almería, SE Spain, many vegetables in Europe are produced, especially during wintertime. Here, water is an issue and is directly connected with the sustainability of the production system.
Growers provide water always together with nutrients. A few years ago, most growers irrigated by eye - or by intuition.
Intuition is good, information is better.
In this video experienced growers show how they use modern sensor technologies in order to save up to 40 % of water and nutrients.
