Have you seen the women of Brewster place in 89. I think that was the last time and first they played together... This brought back so much nostalgia for me, to see these 2 on screen again together!!! I don't recall them being in many thing together if any at all..not sure

This was actually a great series to watch and I haven't watched a series in a while. This scene left me a little disappointed because it revealed Mavis could be as moral-less as the others, but she had her reasons I suppose. I cried at the end when James died. Next series on my list is Queen Sugar!

I liked her character on the show. I disliked how they had her disappear and we never heard from her again. But in real life it is understandable. Because in real life you may have to go no contact with dysfunctional family.

Oprah is really a great actress in my opinion, Angela Bassett level of acting, but because she’s “Oprah” she doesn’t get the credit she deserves, she did “Native Son” & “Brewster Place” early in her career and those roles proved the great actress she is.

It’s really hard for people as famous as Oprah to be a great actress bc we all know her so well as herself that it’s hard to accept her as some other person. Oprah’s a good actress but knowing her as herself so well just makes it hard to see her as anyone but Oprah.
