she will get you together while committing her own atrocities and array of sins and will try and gastlight you to believing otherwise. Grace was not going for her bs and that is what irritates Lady Mae. They are cut from the same cloth and she Grace knows how to do the 2 step of bull sh*tting with her and doing it with such high guard approach. Grace knew why the caged bird sings and she was not letting Lady Mae or whoever crosses paths with her off the hook. Lady Mae has mat her match in her own daughter. Everyone envied Grace. At first I thought it was a bit of colorism taking place amongst the women but it was not that. The women were more and complex. This series should have been considered Emmy worthy. The characters were so well written. I rooted for Kevin that he find true love. He was so internally tormented and had a beautiful soul too.
