Wow finally you got Indonesian Police Highway Patrol (polantas)🙌Nissan skyline & Aventador. I'm glad to see that. But you missed Datsun 510 & '70 Land Cruiser Indonesian Police Highway Patrol 😑😩
Love the collection I have a couple of questions where did u ge5 the mini licence plates and the display boxes I’m hoping to find some for my own collection. Also hope you have a great Christmas
Matchbox Emergency services Merry Christmas to you as well! The license plates I made myself. I found images on the internet and photoshopped them and then I added my own random numbers and letters for each plate. The truffle boxes I purchased from clearbags. The boxes stack well and keep the dust out. Below is the link where you can find them. Thanks for watching. www.clearbags.com/1-3-8-x-1-3-8-x-4-1-4-food-safe-truffle-box-25-pieces-fb196.html
Do you clear coat over your custom decaled models? If so, do you use a flat or glossy finish? I want to get into customizing vehicles, but it can be intimidating for a newbie like me. I can't decide between the Tamiya X-22 or Tamiya XF-86. Also, the Policecarmodels site lists a 2008 LAPD Crown Vic under Pre-orders. Could be a good opportunity for custom black-and-whites without the hassle of painting, considering the limited availability of the previous San Diego limited edition CVPIs.
f_JPUX_f Yes! I always apply two light layers of clear coat over the decals and over the custom paint. I use “Pledge - Revive It - Floor Gloss” this is the magic clear coat only available in the US. I purchased mine on eBay. I brush it on with a small soft brush. Do a few practice models that you wouldn’t mind ruining. Once you get the hang of it and find the right size tools you’ll have it down in no time.
If the black and white models have graphics on the white doors you will need to repaint the white. The white also comes off with the graphics. If it’s a blank black & white that’s the way to go. I found it easiest to start with a black car and paint the white on top.
@@SamCoca Thanks for the reply! Pledge...interesting. Do you gloss over just the decals, or the entire model to maintain a consistent glossiness throughout? And would you recommend flat finish as an alternative, or is gloss the best way to go?
Nice collection, I'm just wondering why there is only two cars for north Carolina, is it because there isn't a lot of diecast made for nc police cars, are they overpriced?
Most of these are custom made, GreenLight has been making these models since 2006 so not every state is represented including NC. I was having trouble finding NC decals that is why that slot is kind of empty. : )
@@SamCoca that makes sense, thank you for informing me! (I looked at some liveries for the police cars and realized that a lot of them are complicated designs so now it makes even more sense)
M O O S Ξ I’ve been making them for my personal collection. You can sometimes find great deals on eBay by searching “greenlight” under toys or hobbies. Also, troystoysinc.com and policecarmodels.com have great selections.
Hello Azim, These are GreenLight 1/64 scale. You can find them at Hobby Lobby, troystoysinc.com www.outbacktoystore.com or www.policecarmodels.com Older releases can be found on ebay but they can get pricy.
