Greens senator grilled over stance on 'river to the sea' slogan 

Sky News Australia's Tom Connell has grilled Greens Senator Dorinda Cox after she admitted to chanting 'from the river to the sea' at multiple pro-Palestine protests.
“I do support and have participated in the chant ‘from the river to the sea’,” Ms Cox told Sky News Australia.
“This is something that I think supporters of Palestine are very clear about and in fact this is sufficient in the way we have this conversation is grounded in peace and freedom."
Mr Connell challenged the Senators’ remarks that the phrase was peaceful.
“This phrase was actually said by Khaled Mashal, the founder and former leader of Hamas and this was part of not wanting Israel to exist, that's not a peaceful phrase at all in that context, is it. Does that give you pause for thought about using it?”, Mr Connell asked.
“Well look I’m not an expert on Middle Eastern history,” Ms Cox said before claiming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had used the phrase himself.
