Great job my man, so nice to see young men interested in work and general tool knowledge. Very nice attention to detail on the curb edge. Keep up the good work son!!!
Great Video! Was looking for something to watch other than a commercial. This showed exactly what I wanted to see about this trimmer. I'm going to get one. My gas one has died.
*My friend is in our late 60"s🌿 **allabout.wiki/Greenworks** and we are huge Greenworks fans and have been for several years. We have more than Greenworks tools. This weed eater was just what we needed. I opened the box at **2:30** and by **3:10** I was trimming weeds and I am not handy. I trimmed for nearly an hour on the same small battery. We had a larger model and gave it to our son-in-law because it was just getting too heavy for us. This has very balanced weight and we love it.*
Good video. I've been trying to find the 60V trimmer since I have the 60V lawnmower and want to use the same battery. I've only seen the 40 and now 80. I knew there had to be one!
your a brave soul to use that without pants... specially when you go at those trailing weeds. YIKES. video is good but maybe cut out the zoom in and outs. It's good to get both aspects of the footage but the zooming makes me feel dizzy. Thank you for the video, i was looking for someone using this trimmer. You should also put the link in the description to the amazon page to purchase it using your affiliation.
Nah. I've done most my weed eating in shorts like countless others do. If I get into some poison oak, I just go wash off my legs within 15 min. Do I get pebbles and sticks to hit my legs? Yes, but I don't really mind.
Great job with this review! Question: Do you have any trouble with the string getting stuck and not winding out properly? Also, the green button you press to unwind, does it get stuck for you?
Just got my Ryobi line trimmer back from warranty work. Now the trigger is sticking. The repairman made some unintelligible kind of excuse about a wire being too short. I'm hoping the trigger will loosen up with luck. I'm never going back to them (local warranty guys sanctioned by Ryobi). I'm sure the repairmen did not expect me to test it in front of him. This will be my first and last Lithium Battery string trimmer. Prior to this failure, I had two battery failures and one charger failure that Ryobi replaced by mail. Next time it quits it's going in the trash but only after I video myself taking a 16 lb mall to it and putting it up on You Tube. There will be some LEMONS in my Video as well.
What do you mean by change the trimmer head? If you mean put on a whole new head I don’t think it’s possible because it is linked directly to the motor. I would recommend you contact greenworks support.
Greenworks spool head cover is so thin it cracks within a couple of years and is NOT covered by warranty. It is an expensive part to buy when including shipping. I will NEVER recommend Greenworks trimmer.
