Hi Michael, it may be the angle of the camera but it looks like the foot rest pivet hole is off set in the bracket. if you turn the bracket the other way round I think the rest will fold okay. Sorry to hear you are having problems with stones a real bugger. all the best great video as always.
My thoughts exactly. I was going to comment on the bracket, saying it looked upside down and you beat me to it. I even rewatched that part to check. I think they were assembled like that originally. 👍🏻
I remember watching a RU-vid video on the history of Greeves and they were sold in kit form in the 60's, they were a popular choice for amateur racers/ trials and scrambler etc. Great work your doing Michael 👍.
Hi mate, as others have said the footrest bracket is upside down, the hole should be above centre to allow the peg to pivot all the way up . Good job you only tackled it😁 Keep up the good work 👍👍
Michael regarding the holes you drilled in the rear sprocket what i would have done is put a chamfered edge around the outside of the holes as a safety measure. I remember a lad lost a finger on what i would call as a home made sprocket. Colin from Northern Ireland.
Michael, we here at Spoons clicked on very early on what was happening with the "alleged" wrong fork assembly. You deliberately put them in backwards, so that you could show off with your new hammer⚒longer well done. Not an original "Thor King of Hammers" ⚒but we appreciated the effort. Lager shandy removed and replaced with a bottle of the Foaming Brown with the Blue Star. Great vid.
Michael, I've stopped this at 11.48 and if you are finding it troublesome machining through the material, I clearly heard you say "this alloy is hard" then I heard the machine sound increase in revolutions. Well it would have been far better to reduce the spindle speed to get through the material. I will carry on watching now ......

Michael the top yoke needs to be 180 degrees to pull the tire toward the I beam . Other wise you will have a road racer not a trailer. I made brackets for my foot pegs .
Isn't the footrest U bracket the wrong way up, just a thought. I'm getting over a mystery excruciating leg pain, it just started out of nowhere and doc said it will go away in a couple of months, here, take these tablets. Getting old, as you say is a challenge.
The kidney stones can stay in the bladder a few days before passing but if you had a few occasions of pain you might have very small stones more like gravel. I had a kidney stone when I was quite young, so its not an age thing. A full on stone is extremely painful and I collapsed with the pain and ended up being taken to hospital. They gave me some stuff to flush it out and when I passed it out I nearly fainted because of pain in my dick. The bloody thing looked like and anti ship mine with all the jagged bits sticking out. No wonder they are so painful.
Michael, Xylene is nasty stuff and can cause brain damage. If using xylene based paint, you should make sure to use a well fitting mask with cartridge type filters, for organic solvents.
