Gem was 1 in a million, esp with Greg, What a pair!

Greatest and most talented horse of that era! He was phenomal!!! Gem Twist will be remembered for years to come!

Can someone please tell me, in the beginning fo the video before the first jump at 0:12 Why riders do that posting canter thing? Am I the only one seeing it? I've noticed hunter riders as well as SJ riders doing it.. So what's the purpose?? Lol
