Nah, it’s all part of the act. They have a running gag that Greg is a ruthless, violent dictator who kills for sport and Alex was just playing along with that fantasy. They’re all S Tier comedians and masters of improvisation.

This was great to see. I felt that kid's pang of panic, because he knew what he did just there was crossing the line. Just for a moment, here on television, we saw normal reality rear itself for just a moment; an impulsive, uncouth youth acted up, and a mature adult set him straight.
