Greg Kading clarified the circumstances surrounding Keefe D. Responding to Vlad’s inquiries, Kading stated that Keefe D was not offered a proffer agreement in exchange for dropping substance charges against him. Instead, their meeting aimed to confront him on his illicit activities and encourage him to cooperate. However, Kading clarified that this did not guarantee immunity from prosecution. During these not initially recorded meetings, Keefe D provided information that could lead to prosecuting other individuals involved but could also implicate him. Unbeknownst to Kading, the meetings were secretly recorded by another investigator, resulting in two and a half hours of confession footage. Kading specified that in such proffer agreements, the information given by the defendant cannot be used against them but does not prevent prosecution.

Who's to say Keefe even had a lawyer or listened to their legal advice? Dude showed up with a public defender for his arraignment, and I doubt he has money for a decent private attorney. He told on himself with the book, BET documentary, and the later interviews because he needed money and wanted credit for the hit. He's obviously not that bright and if he didn't sign up for the proffer, he was going to do life in jail for PCP trafficking anyway. He was really given a lucky out and everything else is entirely his fault for why he's likely going to die in jail for participating in a first-degree murder.

@@alp852 there’s no physical evidence or any reliable witnesses tying Keefe D to the crime. He’s the only person that can confirm whether he was there or not. Not even Greg Kading can testify that Keefe was there. Any statement that he ever gave, none of it was under oath. He’s now saying that everything he said was for money. No one can refute that. A serious lawyer would destroy all of the interviews and Greg Kadings credibility

Well yes and no. If you admit to literally every past crime you committed, stay clean after the session, and you never speak about what you told the police that day, you'll be okay in theory. They can't use those crimes you elaborated against you otherwise. Like someone said above though, they're only going to offer a proffer deal if you're about to be buried under the jail anyway.

In the interview Greg did wit Vlad six years ago he said the day they rode up on keefe at his house keefe got a lawyer and met wit them at the us attorneys office the same day. Now he is saying it wasn’t the same day. Second lie in the other interview he said that they told keefe if he told them everything they wanted to know he wouldn’t be charged for the drug crimes or the 2 pac murder. Now he is saying that wasn’t true either. That he could still be charged there was no agreement for that. Greg also stated when u do a proffer at the us attorneys office then assume your being recorded and that keefe d knew he was being recorded. Now he is saying he didn’t even know about the recording. I don’t think these cops had any drug charges on him at all they just finessed him. Because if they had any charges they would of arrested him and used that as leverage. This dummy basically confessed for no reason.

Keefe D was never given immunity, but I assume he was under the impression that he had immunity with the proffer agreement. Keefe D attorney us at fault for not making sure his client was clear on the agreement. I also find it unethical that the proffer agreement was taped, especially in his attorney office. It's a clear violation of attorney client privilege. Kading and the other officers were completely wrong. Keefe D attorney has already subpoenaed the tapes to be used as part of his defense. While I do believe Keefe D is guilty, he did not do it alone. I believe 2pac was set up, and Keefe D played a part in it.
