We can't really say that cops watching interviews truly matters. Keefe D has been saying this on public forums since 2019. They didn't move on him because of an interview. Somebody just finally decided to get off their ass 27 years after. The point in investigating is gathering evidence while it exists. Las Vegas PD didn't try to solve the murder in 1996. Maybe in 2023 they will give an honest effort.
