Mo Rocca meets the actor, an Oscar-nominee for "As Good As It Gets," and star of the new movie, "Heaven Is for Real" in which Kinnear plays a minister whose faith is shaken by his son's divine vision.
I’ve always liked Greg Kinnear, a very underrated actor. I remember when he hosted Talk Soup in the 90s on the E! Network, the best show on cable at the time.
He was HILARIOUS on ‘Talk Soup’. With that delivery, humor and GOOD LOOKS, I knew he was going places. Boy did he ever... He’s a favorite male lead. I’ve seen all of his roles and he’s exceptional in so many ways. ✨🌟✨💛
I had the good fortune of attending a taping of "Later with Greg Kinnear" many moons ago. Mr. Kinnear was friendly and approachable between segments and the whole experience was very positive. I'm a big fan of his movie roles as well! :)
I watched Greg Kinnear as Ratchet from Robots as a kid. Ratchet is depicted as snide and nasty. But in real life, Kinnear looks like a really nice guy. He's very humble and not self absorbed whatsoever.
He is unjustly neglected. One of the best actors I have ever known. But it looks like with the exception of several movies, his amazing talent has not been used to the most.
Love Kinnear...glad he got into acting! Loved him in "As Good As it Gets" and "Little Miss Sunshine"..nails his characters as well as the late great JFK, the best one bar none! Keep a going Greg!!
I've always considered Greg Kinnear an extremely underrated actor, I loved him as a the host of Talk Soup. I think one of his best roles was as Bob Crane the movie "Autofocus," I also enjoyed "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Flash of Genius." Even if the movie isn't terrific, Greg's performances always are.
I remember when he was on E! Then he made the switch and he was acting. I remember thinking; “Wow, he transitioned pretty smoothly.” Then he’s nominated for an Oscar! I didn’t know he’d studied for the craft. Can’t help it but every time I see him I remember he started on E! Not a put-down, just a fact. I’m pretty freaking impressed really.
He was a very big star in the 90s but i always see him as a big star still. What a great actor. You love the film 10 times more with he's in it. As good as it gets is one of those.
He is a talented actor. He deserves an award not just a nomination. He is now on a dark comedy on Starz called Shining Vale, and he is doing a great job as is all the cast. All hail the mayor.
I was just watching the Last Song Which I love him in as good as it gets I really like him in every thing but I was thinking what a good looking guy he really is.
I got to date Greg Kinnear so the only way I think of him is as a singer/ singing Frank Sinatra songs and also as a incredible comedian and a great kisser and a really fun dancer, will use to go dancing in a la jolla😘☺️
He has poise & commands a strong & friendly image! He's terrific! I'm about as handsome as Greg. If any woman wants me -- I live near Sunset High School in Portland, OR. * Cav *
I went to school with Greg kinnear in Athens I just remember him being very friendly he was in a school in an area called kaffessia kids and we were the Hellenicon on kids and they were the kafesha kids he played football for the other team and we played football for the Air Force team Air Force kids team actually I just remember him being a nice guy hanging around with Hillary Fairfax and everybody just got along whether you are from over there or from the base everybody got along
How can an interviewer have a speech impediment? It's amazing that Mo hasn't had some speech pathologist work on his diction. Does no one at CBS see the need to resolve such a problem? Very distracting!
Ah yes ..2014, the good old days...when you were allowed to make a Christian film, talk about it right out loud....and dare I say...be a Republican... seems like a lifetime ago
