Excellent video - Greg Lake has a great voice, no doubt - but I think alot of people overlook at how good of a bass (and guitar) player he is - most of the bass guitar parts in ELP music are very complicated (and he's singing while playing these complicated parts) - a very talented gentleman.
"Balance" by itself is not appropriate for this specific context or momentum of the question. No wonder Greg did not understand it at first. As a matter of fact, he had to decode what most closely resembled a smoke signal coming from a Cherokee or an Apache tribe. The correct term should have been "overall balance"!
Greg was correct in his statements about teenagers & rebeling against their parents thru music choices. I was a teenager in the 1970"s & the music I choose was in direct opposition to my parents the louder they became the more I played music they disliked!!!! So true.
There is no one KC. There are many lineups, all with their own flavor. I adore the first lineup and the first two albums although the lineup with Wetton was also fantastic.
