I need to see the linebackers and secondary get a lot better. Also would like to see a real second option in the passing game behind Bernard, know Ryan Williams wasn’t there. Was all about Jam last year after watching him against LSU and happy to see the work he has put in.
Replacing coach Saban is not easy but man DeBoer is a really really good coach. His record is outstanding and the talent is there for a great coach Bama and Georgia man what a gam÷ this will be two machines in college football Georgia and Bama are just that good
I can remember many years ago when FL State recruited well and had what many thought to be one of the best teams ever. Coach Bowden had some great talent individually however they could not play as a team that year and had a bad year. Hopefully with so many new faces we can play together as a team?
I keep hearing about how Bama is now a touchy-feely, no anxiety, program. Greg alluded to this in the video. I worry that we will turn into another Auburn where winning is replaced by touchy-feely, family atmosphere. I do not want us to go down the same path as Auburn.

Sorry, I'm an Alabama fan but, Milroe is just a slightly bigger Nick Marshall. I wanna win every game and the natty, but im not going to be blinded by crimson and go into season thinking we will. Im not gonna have any expectations, and if we win, great, and if we don't, im not going to be disappointed.

This Bama team has 15 5stars on its roste. Bama has a very very talented football team and comple coaching staff. Georgia has 13 5 stars and Georgia is going to be really really good just like Bama both teams has great national title chances in my opinion. The coaching attrition at Bama will not stop. Deboar will have a good year, maybe two then go to the league. Assistants will also leave. These contracts need to have at least a three to five year commitment or there is a clawback on a big portion of the contracts. No coaching continuity is the largest risk factor at Bama ahead of NIL and the portol combined.
Simpson has been the better quarterback all spring and the a day game. If Simpson had a full game versus USF that score would of been a lot more impressive.

Saban leaving that program has returned Alabama to earth. They’re always gonna be a good team, and they’ll be a contender most years. But they’re going to have the same chances as the top 10 in the country going forward. It’s not going to be almost guaranteed anymore, it’s just not. Not hating on Bama, they were the greatest program in college football for the last 15 years. But it’s just reality that now other teams have slightly stepped ahead, and they’ve leveled out. Again, this is just fact.
In 2023 the same exact thing was said “Bama goes 8-4 with milroe “ “the game has passed saban up” and once again Bama goes and proves it to be untrue . They have one of the best rosters in college football and everyone expects them to go from 11 wins to falling to mediocrity is hilarious .
Three problems Alabama had last season. VERY unimaginative offensive play calling. Running up the middle twice and dropping back on 3rd and long is not a good scheme. Another problem with the o-line letting through waaaaaay too many rushers untouched...Third the center couldn't hike the ball consistently all FRICKING season. They HAD to have someone on the bench that could have outperformed that center. Sure Milroe had problems but I think the problems I just listed would have been problems for ANY Quarterback...

As a diehard Alabama fan who views college football from an X and O standpoint, I totally disagree with your assessment of Milroe. The spring game simply a lot of rotation among players in and out of the game. Anyone who knows foitball realizes a QB, and his WRs have to develop a rhthm when trying to execute plays. Your comment tells me that you are simply a fair weather Bama fan. Take a chill pill and relax. Once fall camp starts you will see a great difference in performance. If you had paid attention to what Greg stated about Milroe, your response would have been different.

u are 100% correct . He just can’t read defenses and make the quick adjustment and decisions. Not to mention he is simply NOT accurate with the ball. He can NOT even throw a screen pass accurately . He is one helluva athlete, but if he wants to see NFL field, it will be another position.

Milroe isn’t a QB, period. He has always been bigger and faster than everyone, so no one has ever taught him how to actually play the position. He simply cannot read defenses and leaves guys open all the time.

alabama deals with losing players and coaches ever year, yet even with the departures this year Alabama still has a top 5 head coach and coaching staff and still ranks #3 in roster talent rankings you can have your opinions and questions as does everyone else but in reality, Alabama arguably has paired the best offensive coach in the game with the most dangerous offensive weapon and last season with little experience, not even at his full potential, mistakes and all Milroe won the conference championship and made the playoffs we all know milroe needs to improve in some areas (intermediate touch passing, reading the field) that is where this coaching staff comes in at, whereas the past 2 coaches staffs had 0 QB developers given the natural progression of a player with more experience and better coaching especially with a player with as much untapped potential as Milroe, that offensive attack will one of the best

You are obviously a casual fan and don’t really understand what you’re seeing. Milroe looked much different in the A Day game. His footwork was much better. His mechanics were visibly better. This is just spring so he has a lot of time to adjust to his coaching. Alabamas offensive coaching last season was terrible for the most part. I don’t think they will win a NC, but they will do great.
Truth... in fact he looks exactly the same as last year but lets include that he's got new coaches and playbook.... Frankly the A game looked not so super and the D looked sub par.
