Outstanding interview - possibly best I've ever watched with a sports figure. Gaultier really provided depth in his answers.

if it is a question , yes i have some idea like Miguel Rodriguez for his physical training, Ramy Ashour for his tricky shot, Mohamed Elshorbagy because he is the current number one in the world, Ali Farag because he is the next generation, Nick Mathew for his good experience, Max Lee for his last good performance in the hong kong open ...

down to earth questions and answers; well done both. You can really feel Gaultier's happiness (which transpires on court obviously). Started squash at 4 yo...sweet Jesus.... proves the theory that the sooner you start the better...

Sorry, but the matches are much shorter now. There are no longer any pro matches approaching 2 hours. It simply does not happen. In fact, there are some 5-game matches completed in 45 minutes. This may be desirable or not- for spectators, or for the long-term health of the players' joints- but it is a direct result not only of the lighter racquets but also of the modern scoring, glass courts, lower tin, and minimal interference rule. That is not to say that agility has become less important than racquet skill. Greg is the proof that Amr was not the last small man ever to dominate squash. (No "short" tennis player has won a Grand Slam in decades.) But winning a match by defensive attrition the way Jansher did early in his career is no longer a viable strategy at the pro level.
