I, too, have the Gregory Scott Tarot cards. The energy of them is amazing and I have very much enjoyed using them. The images are perfect for the more intuitive reader, and I very much appreciate Gregory Scott's perspective when it comes to the guidebook. Gregory Scott is very much an intuitive reader. This deck is even better than I thought it would be, and I expected wonderful work from Gregory Scott. Again, the energy of these cards is absolutely amazing!
Scott has a video from 6 years ago, describing what he considers to be secret tarot card meanings, that he has somehow discovered, over his time using them. That might explain what some of the cards mean.
Very cool deck! Thanks for the flip through. Some really interesting reinterpretations. I thought the representation of Strength was brilliant because as I see it it's about conquering the "inner beast", the strength to conquer oneself first of all. The lion in the traditional representation strikes me as allegory of self-mastery and self-control, which require great personal strength and appear as endurance and fortitude from an external perspective.
Dacide Corsi has illustrated quite a few Tarot card decks and I like his art . so that is why I have ordered this deck,,,'The Pictorial Key' .;The Ghost Tarot' . 'Draconis Tarot'
LOL 😂 You are hilarious!!! Very entertaining, was gonna go on a tarot diet but started watching your lives and reviews regularly recently and I can tell, you’re gonna get me in trouble! (Good trouble, there goes the “diet”)!😉
Queen of Cups... emotional shipwreck victim being healed and restorted. Q/C is rescuing him from his past mistakes of the heart? OK, that does it, gotta have this deck!
I've looked through the booklet, and, it explains what the cards mean. It appears to be based on his own Insights, rather than conventional Rider Waite meanings. It probably won't resonate with everybody, but, that's the way it always goes. I'm less than thrilled with Hanson Robert's or Crystal Vision, while others rave about them.
Haha you're funny...all through the review "I don't know what's happening here"😅. And that's my feeling also.Thank you for the honest walkthrough, this is not a deck for me this time. 🙏🥰
I initially thought this deck was all over the place , although I'm still not sure about the little mermaid star card... But Gregory clearly has his own interpretations of the cards. When you read the info in guidebook and study the image, I have to say I totally get them. I received them two days ago in the post from one of my gorgeous youtube followers and I have to say, much to my surprise, I'm really enjoying them I'm RWS obsessed but this deck is helping my brain to look at different interpretations of the cards 🥰
The Queen of Cups, is going to heal, she didn´t cut him, look at her hand glowing with healing energy! It´s a very nice deck, I like it!!! David Corsi already illustrated many decks from Lo Scarabeo!
This was an enjoyable walk through of this deck. Love the artwork, so beautifully illustrated. This is definitely on my 'must have' lists. Thanks for sharing. Your comments had me giggling throughout, 'are they fondling him'? LOL
A fun walkthrough, I listened to every word. What a weird, inconsistent deck. It doesn't seem to have a theme, and definitely doesn't live up to it's motto on the box, a 'deck of positive clarity'. There are many cards that are very negative interpretations of the traditional meanings. There are also many cards that are not clear at all in what they are trying to communicate, like the 7 cups, a total misfire. You know, I buy most decks as soon as they're published as sometimes a deck that makes no sense when I first see it appeals to me later in life (I've been buying them since 1988). I have to say, I'm hesitating before buying this one.
I actually figured out the 7 of cups.. all by myself. I usually go straight to guidebooks! 🤣 It normally shows someone daydreaming of all the things he wants... Gregory's card simply shows other kids book learning in the background, while the kid who is the main focus of the card is daydreaming I actually love it
Hello, TO. Thanks for making me aware of so many decks that I might miss if not for your reviews and forecasting of new decks. So ... re: this deck, first of all you really had me laughing and talking to the screen in response to some of your comments. Lol This deck had me confused at certain points and I think it was because I was trying to fit the depictions too much into what I am more accustomed to seeing depicted in the RWS. There were certain cards I liked right away and others not so much. So, I went over to Gregory Scott's channel and watched his very first unboxing hoping for some "positive clarification" of the cards. Lo and Behold, I got it. He explained enough about the meanings and where he was coming from in terms of his choices that my appreciation of the deck started to kick in. I can see certain cards differently and I feel that I will definitely be able to read (especially intuitively) with them. Thanks, again!!
I absolutely agree. I also watched his video and began to see cards in a new light and I know I can even add these interpretations to other decks also 🥰
Darn, I love Greg and I expected more from this... Yes should have had a better book. The cards really.. get odd. There are a few stunners and then... just creepy, not great interpretations, bad vibes, etc. That art rendering stylevis not my cuppa but that's just me. I appreciate your candid yet light-hearted review! I think this would be better as a "haunted celtic" deck or something.
I’ve read tarot for nearly 30 years. I read past and future. Many readers are into New Age, but I, myself am a believer in God and Christ. I ask God to help me interpret and it’s always worked for me. I get initials, signs, and so on, and ppl know who I’m talking about, etc. if not from God and having the gift of observation and perception, I couldn’t do it with accuracy.
Gorgeous deck BUT the Death Card, come on? It is a mayor arcana why so empty? I was thinking of buying this deck but the Knight of pentacles and Death Card are off-putting 😢😢
I'm totally an RWS woman and I don't stray from it... I thought this deck was weird just like others. However it was sent to me two days ago, and when you have it in your hands and can properly examine the images and read his ideas in the guidebook, I have to say it starts to make sense and really grow on ya. It's the meanings from a different angle. I'm actually really liking it
@@melissagerber7231 Temperance is showing how she can choose a spiritual life (depicted by the praying nun) a life of success, or a life of love and family 🥰 She also has the fire and water symbols on her dress 👗
Not sharing the joy and definitely not a Gregory fan. His readings seem to be colored by his attitude of family/friends picking on you and insisting that you not follow your life purpose, i.e., fashion designer... singer...artist... etc. He's always got a grievance... either the church bells or some woman who was mean to him years ago (and NAMES) Nope...his readings just seem a bit mean spirited to me.
