Awesome review, Aqua. My favorite part in the movie was when the gremlins wreck the projector, stopping the movie, so Hulk Hogan demands them to fix it as he tears off his shirt in the theater.
In case your curious, there are other games where falling down a pit will hurt instead of killing you. A lot of treasure games do that - Alien Soldier, Dynamite Heady, Gunstar Heroes. All good games I might add.
Probably the best NES game ever made, everything about it is just pure brilliance from the graphics (for it's time) and the incredible music and perfect controls. I love this game
I got this game for Christmas along with Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers back in 1990. Good Christmas. I beat Chip and Dale in a matter of days, but this was challenging. I was stuck at 4-2 forever I remember. Very fun game. You can move in 8 directions, by the way, not 6.
14:00 I don't know why I never noticed before but those aren't donuts that the gremlin is throwing, they're pineapples that break apart into pineapple rings that hone in on you.
Great review as always. Gremlins 2 is one I always wanted you to tackle. I played it a lot when I was a kid and thought it was sorely underappreciated. Now, perhaps Resident Evil 2 for Halloween this year??? :)
I literally was just playing this game the other day. I really enjoy it personally, it is an underrated little game, though it does have a few annoyances. Awesome graphics, music, and gameplay for an NES game though.

poor kids i use to love my nes and i also like snes as well there was just so many good games lol but also some pretty bad games i willnever play again i also like sega genesis as well

Has anyone else noticed a little black man (a shadow) in level 2.1? He appears after u visit the shop, and u walk to the right. He runs quickly to the right when u see him, and then he is offscreen. I don't think u can catch him, coz he is very fast. I've seen him twice so far. I wonder why he is in the game, and if u can do anything with him / get from him.
I had noticed him when I was a kid and I liked they added some story element. For me it's to show Gremlins are coming since its the first one you see. You can't catch him or do anything.
