This is literally the meta strategy in the Stalingrad event. I have played with and against most of the top 25 (that are on pc) and every high skill game is a constant barrage of rifle mounted GLs
Its good to see the grenades finally having any real use, however i think the last thing this game needs is even more explosives flying around. People with fully squads of soldies with big grenade pouches with 3x Geballte Ladung, Radioman squads call in arty every 30 seconds, Mortar crews firing and now rifle greandes flying around... matches of my nightmares, you die every 2 meters. Unpopular opinion: they should have restricted the big grenades to one per soldier but too late for that now.
Can somebody pls explain me why the heck in Stalingrad the mkb 42 has a rate of fire of 450-500 rpm but the “sniper” version has 600rpm? I knew German engineering during ww2 was beyond any average person imagination but a scope which improves the rate of fire of a gun seems a little bit too much to me
i dont think the grenades needed a damage buff, they were pretty good for damage radius before this update. i used them all the time to shoot into windows of 2nd / 3rd story buildings with great effect. sure glad they streamlined the usage though.
I somehow was able to get used to the Grenade Launcher before the buff, it was good, especially on Moscow where there are so many PPD-40's and PPSh-41's that it's unbearable otherwise.
Man I just went full sprint into a room full of Germans thinking it was clear, and got an 11 kill kamikaze run with a Mosin grenade launcher. This thing is hilarious. Meanwhile, I watched a bomb get dropped on the roof of the attic i was in, thing was fully visible from inside, and I took no damage. Rifle grenade > literally any other explosive
The grenade launcher change was necessary. Having to mount the launcher and then the grenade was annoying as hell. Glad Darkflow changed it up and made it simpler.
nah, it's not about the mounting system that's bad, it's the increased damage. Now people spam them everywhere racking up kills. Imagine det pack spam but instead of 1 explosive, you get 3 by default.
Normandy is barely playable right now. These damn pocket nukes can be wielded by entire squads. This, in addition to all the other explosive spam in Normandy, is just crazy. I really hope they stay true to this style of gameplay and add the Enola Gay bombing run with the Japanese Campaign.
Also I really wanna know how you get so good at snapping onto new targets like how you do. Like do you specifically practise or is it just from experience?
ha it was just a self-depreciating joke. As for how I'm good, it's cheats obviously. But seriously, it's just time and practice. I've been playing games since I could walk, and I've spent a lot of time playing games like Valorant, Counter Strike, Rainbow Six Siege, etc that all tend to hone the "flick-y" aiming. I'm actually very bad at games that require tracking targets like Apex Legends lol.
@@HeyQuadro I think that part of the reason is that people who play this game are really, really bad and so anyone who’s even just decent seem really good. Like I’m a utter garbage and yet I consistently get 1st place in most of the matches I play just because I get on the point and build spawns. I feel like I’m constantly yelling at people to “BUILD F***ING SPAWN POINTS” and yet they never listen.
Tbh it's not that bad, this change was necessary cause grenade launchers were useless before this and now they are useful. They should put them on shite guns like the M1 Carbine and maybe reduce the ammo back down to 3, not 5 (it used to be 3 before this change iirc) to help balance them, and that will probably do it. Then comes the explosive spam nerfs which should cover this too
I'm lvl 27 on Normandy (Axis). I got kar 98 with schiessbecher grenade launcher on every rifleman... I wonder should I wait for GGP 40 launcher and what's the difference??
tbh the grenade buff was necessary, it was pretty much useless before. The way to fix it now is to reduce the amount of grenades down to one, or two if you carry two guns. If they revert the buffs it will be pretty useless again.
I am new (about three weeks) to Enlisted. I play on PC. I feel like it is sort of a guilty pleasure. If only the AI did not dominate the game. My short experience has taught me that about 75% of the games are "No Win" or "No Lose" depending upon only the random chance of which team you are assigned. You skill has nothing to do with the outcome a majority of the time. Regardless, it can still be fun to go out and see how many digital enemies you can eliminate, and learn stuff. I really like the close games, where your team finally rallies and manages to pull out a win . . . so rare. I thank you for your video. It was both entertaining and informative. 🪖👍
Why not use the m1 grand with grenade launcher? Edit: I can see the enemy team rage quitting like WTF IS THIS GUY DOING WITH THOSE GRENADES HE IS A HACKER
they should make troops like this explosive themselves so lik if said guy has lik a GL, lik 3 grenades plus an AT mine, when he gets shot, all the explosives on him blow up and damage anything near that killed guy lik darkflow reverted the explosive concussion thing but fucked it up the grenade launcher spam again
its been several days since this grenade buff, and i can say this has absolutely ruined the game (for me). i don't mind losing, i don't mind being outplayed by better players but.... .... almost EVERY match i play now, its literally nothing but non-stop launched grenades and TNT. it never stops... that dull thud and full kill feed, its constant for 14+ minutes. IF this isnt fixed in the next hot patch, this will literally be the thing that makes me quit this game for good.
Try playing Stalingrad it’s the most toxic thing especially on Communist Street… like the amount of open range they have to just bombarded you is awful. Couldn’t even be bothered to play another match because of how scummy the thing is.
Grenade launchers need a nerf for real. Double the reload time and halve the amount that can be carried. They should do the exact same damage as hand grenades because... well they are hand grenades, and they absolutely should not fly so far and on such a flat trajectory....
I think, that the change was necessary, because nobody used them. Also, I think, the average player wont try hard with grenade launchers. If they use a whole 2 squads only with grenade launchers, they would be missing on smgs, mgs, flamethrowers, etc. My benefit of using them would be instead if using normal grenade, you can put explosive pack, smoke grenade, molotov.
@@HeyQuadro They can be abusable, if you can sacrifice all the other weapons and squads, and that's my point. You can grind to the max level, with only or mostly grenade launchers and miss all the fun. Thanks for replying btw I really appreciate it! Love your content❤️
I actually do like this change because although people say it’s good it’s actually very situational and the USA gets a semi auto with grenade launcher but most other nations have to use a bolt action which is not as good as full auto, semi auto, and sniper rifles Also nice fake laugh and commentary You know you don’t have to talk all the time just when it’s good or necessary
eh its not fake. It's a bit played up, but it's not fake. Enlisted has become very muscle-memory for me at this point so my mind just kinda wanders, and streaming has taught me to avoid "dead-air" so I tend to kinda babble on lol.
