there is an upgrade"restore the core" but lookout - when you click it it will restore the core in that moment, regardles if it has 100% or 1%

the resonant laser 14:29 is a life saver, it can kill spawners, or the shield center blocks so the others loose the shield. it is supremely good, and If you have 5 of them - it is insanely fast

Consider using more drillers. Most of the time at least one hauler was always doing nothing. Also your security. I know you like to use them for nighttime defense too, but finding the ressources faster will let you build much faster too ;) digging the most bugs out before the pop out anyway Love these long vids!! ❤

I started playing the Demo. If you delete a Lab, you loose the ability's you unlocked. Until you build a Lab again. Found that out, the hard way.

also with the barracks: what I do is each floor has 6 building slots, but each builiding can be build 5 times, so I build barracks in a column 1 per floor as the 6th building

moved the research center all game and barely done any research. Could have done it and sell them...

Can't sell them as you lose the research upgrades. Started a new series if you're interested 👍

51:25 not much difference in moving the laboratory. To destroy it you lose 1 iron to build a new one on top you use 1 extra iron. So you use 2 iron to save 2 iron.

Yeah it's only useful for the red stone on some of the buildings

Haven't tried it yet but I'm curious on having a shield turret per level instead of the slowing turrets. The critters can't proceed until they pop the shield, all the while getting peppered by the turrets. Also it gives the added bonus of grouping the horde so AOE explosives hurt more targets per shot. Having a set of firework turrets towards the top is beneficial since it has the added benefit of fire dmg over time.

@@Pin-77 Oh it most certainly will. Which is why you'll need explosives or railguns that'll effect multiple targets. Not sure if you've used the laser watchtowers yet, but they are kind of nice. I'd say they are the equivalent to the railguns in a way. Long range and damages everything in it's path.

The rocket thing would be all right if it shot 3 times as many rockets ( maybe twice as many , lol ) Like Pin said " not a fan people "

I find if I can get the rockets on the inside 4 slots early, they do a great job of clearing most of the central cross over points early on

You should try the rocket tower things Flanking the core so you clear out the middle enemies more, keeping your core clear of enemies.

Agree on dragon fruit. I enjoy othet exotic fruits but can't get into these other than the cool appearance.

Central ‘scale’ block give more drilling resistance to the touching outside blocks until it is mined 👌

19:52 and thsts how each floor should look like "risking for a biscuit" and empty floor. I reached 600 m this way - but man the caverns - they got harder to dig with every floor, and after 300 its soooooo slow that with full double speed it takes ages

Yeah think a save when you quit like FTL, is going to be needed if they want us to dig down that far.

Loving your play throughs ‘Pin, been playing the demo in the evenings - I found I undervalued both the shield turret and/or the slow turret and the base of the mine 🤯
