What a Day!!! 4 TONNES of Scrap Metal was pulled out of the canals and £5000 raised for Cancer Research...Drop a HUGE thumbs up for Steve, Nigel, Marie and Glen for organising a great event. The real "magnet" of this channel is obviously Leigh himself! Exceptionally extroverted, he just radiates a positive, "good dude" vibe, and tries to draw everyone he works with into his enthusiasm and sense of adventure and fun. Heck, it's fun to watch, even if the outcome on a given day might just be some rusty bikes and a couple of plundered safes. I've watched so many of his videos now that I almost feel like I know Amsterdam, yet from many thousands of miles away! Keep it up - you're a welcome distraction in an increasingly dark world of negativity!

You could have obliged, but instead, you cut it at the exact moment he was about to show us what he wanted us to see. Naughty, naughty, Leigh. But we metal detect n mag fish and it gives us a lil exercise n we get outside and are able to do something together. And there's ALWAYS someone in the area that does it too! So just ask around n I KNOW someone will want to join you or ask you to go with them!! Ask your grandkids, or kids from church or your neighborhood kids!! Or find another person your age if they want to go n you'll be surprised how much FUN it is!! And even if all ya do is find junk, it's still exciting waiting for the stuff to come up out of the water, it's like Christmas! Plus the best part is it's helping the environment n getting trash out of the water!! PLEASE get a magnet n give it a go...you won't be disappointed!! 🏞🧲🪝🪣🧤♻️🚮🌊❤🙋‍♀️

I was surprised you found all that junk under that bridge. And what is really amazing is that Narrow boats navigating threw that Canal. You would think prop would snag on that junk and damage. Good idea have a narrow boat with a junkyard crane magnet going down gathering it up and fill a barge with junk collected. Good work to all your magnet fishing friends!!

I swear, whenever I need some energy, because life drains you sometimes, I just go to your channel and I instantly feed off of your energy and happiness over even the smallest finds. I want to go magnet fishing myself now. Live near a lake, maybe I can find something with my strong, but not as strong as yours, magnet. :) Thanks for all the feelgood!

Amazing video plus great thing you have all done in raising a good amount for cancer research. The canals are healthier for it as well.just hope people would stop throwing stuff in there.it doesn't rot down plus it hurts any wildlife. Keep up the good work.xxx
