There's a lot of negative comments going around about this show. Yes, there were too many overlong guitar solos (and no disrespect, but Jake is not Jimmy Page), but overall it was a great show. Josh's voice is unreal. Id definitely go and see them again.
@@Tityretupatulae Lol. I don't really care if you think my Page comment is boring. It's relevant. You're seriously not trying to deny or deflect away from the fact that GVF borrow heavily from Zeppelin are you? Not a bad thing as far as I'm concerned, but let's at least acknowledge it. If you take a look at my profile picture, you'll see I play guitar. If you look close, you might notice the shirt I'm wearing in the picture. I've been playing Zeppelin stuff for decades, and I can play it really well but, am I Jimmy Page? However much I'd like to be, I'm not. Same goes for Jake. But I think I'm qualified to have an opinion of another guitar player. Especially one who is clearly , like myself, very heavily influenced by Jimmy Page. I loved the show I saw a couple of weeks ago but, the guitar solos were a bit tedious and repetitive. I still love the band, but maybe that's one element of their live shows that they should rein in a bit. PS I've seen JP live a few times, with Zeppelin, and on this very same Wembley stage, 25 years ago, with a certain Mr Robert Plant.
@@Tityretupatulae Lol. You seem to be making a point about Jimmy Page appropriating music that came before, as his own, in defence of.... Jake Kiszka! Who of course has never borrowed anything from Jimmy Page. Absolutely classic. And yes, some of Jake's solos at this show outstayed their welcome, and were a bit boring. But I still enjoyed it overall. I love what Jake does on the albums, but he doesn't yet have the chops, and depth of knowledge to carry overly extended solos. And the band as a whole don't (yet) have the improvisational skills that Zeppelin had as a live unit. So it's not all down to Jake either.
Doubt that will ever happen. His guitar Playing Brother is his twin. Jake and Sammy his Other brother is based and keyboards. They're great. Danny's a friend drummer.
